  1. USMC Black worked real well for me with wet leather-like cased and then dyed.
  2. This copy of Leathercrafters Journal has an article that goes over how to do both. You can buy just this copy or subscribe to the journal. 2023 Volume 33, No. 6 Nov/Dec – Leather Crafters & Saddlers Journal. The article is called "Cover It".   10. I agree. Desire, practice and patience. I enjoy carving and tooling, but I need a pattern for the time being. @chuck123wapatiWill these cases be based on a Stohlman pattern?
  11. I have only done one with this type of clip and I left it able to be pulled out. Afte sewing, it was very hard to get it in place. I don't think it will ever fall out.

  16. Resolene either dabbed or sprayed on has been good. I don't think you want to rub it on because it might take some paint away. I have no other ideas though so I will follow this posting.

  18. I would tool and then glue after it dries out good.
