Members battlemunky Posted June 21, 2022 Members Report Posted June 21, 2022 What'd you use for brim and crown wire? I have the plans for this and was thinking of trimmer line but didn't know if it would be stiff enough. Quote

That is exactly what the problem is. I wanted the lace stitching to bee seen ,Fashion over form So I corrected the problem and I am ok with the look, Quote
Members GrampaJoel Posted June 25, 2022 Members Report Posted June 25, 2022 I like the original one best,,, as dieselpunk style. The second one doesn’t look dieselpunk as much. IMO. Sure the crown on the first one is a bit wonky,,,,but in dieselpunk ,,,, a lot of the style is wonky. nice work, just the same! Joel Quote
Members johnnydb Posted June 25, 2022 Members Report Posted June 25, 2022 I like hats and have been thinking about doing one. I like this one too. I haven't decided on which one to start. Quote

Members Brokenolmarine Posted June 26, 2022 Members Report Posted June 26, 2022 I like the second one better, the crown on the first did look off to me too, but then, I'm more traditional. Very nice. Quote
