And what's that covering the floor? Too shiny to be cement! Is it some sort of seal on the cement? They're firefighter radio straps set aside after being edge died. The floor is an epoxy pour. I had it done by a specialist out of Baltimore, DSD Paintings. Quote Rob www.ridgewayleatherworks.com IG: @Ridgewayleatherworks FB: RidgewayLeatherworks
Members Sheilajeanne Posted July 28, 2019 Members Report Posted July 28, 2019 (edited) Cool! Never saw anything like that before. Took me a moment to figure out why the edges on the belts died...lol! Okay, they were DYED. Edited July 28, 2019 by Sheilajeanne Quote

Members battlemunky Posted August 29, 2019 Members Report Posted August 29, 2019 A few snaps of my shop in it's current evolution, its not much different than last time except more organized. Quote
Members battlemunky Posted August 30, 2019 Members Report Posted August 30, 2019 Had a chance to pick up a 4"thick 1' x 2' slab o' granite today. The darker streak in it made it unusable as a headstone so the monument company let me take it for $20. Now I hope my bench can hold it. I may need to reinforce it. My old 1" 1' x 1' is to the right of it. Quote
garypl Posted August 30, 2019 Report Posted August 30, 2019 That is nice! How heavy do you estimate? Gary Quote Cowboy 4500, Consew 206RB-4
Members battlemunky Posted August 30, 2019 Members Report Posted August 30, 2019 Dude at the monument shop said 120 lbs. I agree with him...it doesn't even really like to scoot. Quote
Members Stewart Posted August 30, 2019 Members Report Posted August 30, 2019 Well, I don't need much space. Quote
Members chapelstone Posted October 8, 2019 Members Report Posted October 8, 2019 Been working in a 16' by 16" rented space. Finally built a dedicated shop. 18' x 24'. Still not enough space but a lot better. Still not organized and settled in yet but liking it much better. Quote C. Norman McGlohon Chapel Stone, LLC Custom Leather Works
