Members DJole Posted February 25, 2019 Members Report Posted February 25, 2019 You always do lovely work, with careful attention to detail! That's a nice design, too. Good clean lines with some subtle accents. I think attaching the cloth liner to a leather band, and then attaching that to the bag itself, is a great solution to the problem of how to get that liner to fit. That's a much simpler solution than the one I decided on the last time I made a bag! I wish I had known of your shop when I was in Korea a couple years ago; we were staying in Itaewon just below the Grand Hyatt hotel, not far from your shop! Quote \D. Members battlemunky Posted February 25, 2019 Members Report Posted February 25, 2019 That is really pretty! I'll ditto the clean lines and stitching and braids. Looks fantastic! Quote
bikermutt07 Posted February 26, 2019 Report Posted February 26, 2019 Fine job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

I like it very much, it is beautiful. But I do have a question about the construction. Why would you choose to stitch the sides then braid over the stitching? That adds a lot of time to the construction and seems redundant. Would you do it the same way if you were to make the bag again? Thanks for your reply. Quote
RockyAussie Posted February 26, 2019 Report Posted February 26, 2019 With out the stitching the lace would pull the sides together. The lacing is not constructional at all only decorative. Very nice work there @Hahn and thank you for sharing your work here with us. Quote Wild Harry - Australian made leather goodsYouTube Channel Instagram
