  1. Please post some pictures here. Please read the marketplace rules and conform. You must provide a price (are you selling individually, or the whole batch in one transaction), any information or restrictions on shipping, and photos when possible. Failure to conform may result in your ad being blocked. See the marketplace rules here https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/ If your files are too large to post here due to file size restrictions, you need to resize your files to fit. Follow this link for some helps and suggestions. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171 There are lots of Apps, software, and online tools available on the web, or even built into your device to enable you to reduce your file sizes. 800 pixels in the longest dimension is quite adequate. Smart phone screens and many monitors don't display high res files in high resolution. People that live on the fringes of the internet appreciate smaller file sizes and high res photos may take from 10 minutes to hours to download.
  2. Don't do back-stitching on your machine. Leave extra long tails at the start and finish, then manually back-stitch (saddle stitch) using harness needles. You can then place your stitch more accurately, and relatively no risk of damaging the threads.
  3. If you are looking for info on magnets, check out this link. They have lots of types and supporting information. For a stitching pony with magnetic jaws, you may need a strong magnet separator. Lots of experiments under their blog page. Lots of rabbit holes!
  4. It is the reaction between iron and tannin, same as used to make vinegaroon if you would like to look that up. Keep all iron filings off your work space! You may be able to bleach it out using oxalic acid (teaspoon full in a pint of water) or wood bleach, or barkeeps friend (which all contain oxalic acid. Rinse after to reduce the acid left in the leather.
  5. I split your post off the old thread you had tagged onto. When looking for something like this, start a new thread. Also post pictures here, not on 3rd party hosts.
  6. Lots of topic areas (forums). Pick the ones that seem to fit and fire away! Descriptions of each on the home page. There's also the forum, How do I do that? Some of the posts get moved into other forums they fit into.
  7. Moved out of Help wanted to Dyes, Antiques, Stains, Glues, Waxes, Finishes and Conditioners. Posts in Help wanted need moderator's approval before they can be seen. You are better off asking questions here.
  8. Unfortunately, guests can't post photos, so will have to put their photos on a 3rd party host.
  9. Moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines
  10. Opened with my PDF program and they are all there. The viewer inside Firefox didn't show the diagrams!
  11. I notice all diagrams are missing. Anyone have the complete manual so I can upload it here?
  12. Add some photos! Please read the marketplace rules and conform. You must provide a price, condition of equipment, any information or restrictions on shipping, and photos when possible. Failure to conform may result in your ad being blocked. See the marketplace rules here https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/
  13. Re-read my post, I already moved it. Members can't move posts. Only moderators and administrators can move posts.
  14. Fixed the stickies referred to. Most web connections now want a secure connection. So http has to be changed to https, the s for secure. Check out https://www.cloudflare.com/en-ca/learning/ssl/why-is-http-not-secure/
