  1. Had this built for screened in poarch. Dinning room table was taking a beating.. Now that's a fine looking tractor driving hat!!!

  3. These come up 3-4 times a week. All the development are pushing them out of the woods and swamps. I have 10 acres and 6 is wooded heavly.Actually the last of wooded areas left. Rest are upscale housing and gated communities. Joe

  7. I received this for doing some Book markers ,a tobacco pipe holder and a coaster. I was not expecting any thing for them because of the craftsmanship. The book makers had her father and brothers name plus the U.S.M.C. The coaster had favorite tobacco logo on it. and the holder had his initials on it. So my wife and I are happy. Joe

  9. Thank you winterbear. It will be put to use. I can modify the pattern for larger pipes and add metal belt clip also.   10. Finished the holder. The last of them. There is one that I will do for myself from a pattern Winterbear sent me. The Pipe is finished. I guess I have done the last of leather unless family and friends want something and one more pipe to do. There is 2 more Dreamcathers to do for sisters grandkids. Joe St.

  14. Well the flash on camera messed with the rivets Still need to work on the sides. The pipes stay. He is an decedent of a couple guys having fun robbing trains. Joe
  15. Well this guy says that he keeps his pipes in his shirt pocket. Also we have trade different Items. So along the the other one i made for a guy who toured with Roy Rogers opening his restaurants, I am making this. It ain't pretty but useful. Joe . "Never miss a good chance to shut up."

  19. This is in the finishing stage. Shaping riveting-darkening with neatsfoot and sealing. There is a metal belt clip on back. First time doing that and it is rough on the lacing part. I did not know that the clip would make a flex problem,so next time wider. The clip came off a cheap pipe pouch same size. the leather was thinner. Oh, put glue on wrong side of back part. Just on edges. I was not taught that . Learned to do that on my own. Mentor out of town. Joe St. Post finished picture later.
  20. This is what it's all about " I gave it to him yesterday he really loved it. I told him about all the feathers and where they came from and I told him about the chess pieces. Sage told him when the bad dreams started coming through that you had to take it outside for a few minutes and let the wind blow all the trapped bad dreams out of it. Thank you so much.   21. thanks guys for the responses. The guy wants the untooled area darkened and the rest black. Just in case it looks bad I know now I can stain or die it. Top still needs to be tooled. Used the smallest basket weave tool. Joe
  22. Hi, Can you darken leather with neatsfoot than apply a stain on top of it afterwards? My brain can not get past the visual part of seeing how something would look like when finished. Joe
  23. Finished to day . Shipping tomorrow. The feathers were from Sister in Laws Birds except for the center and bottom three. They were accumulated from the woods. Joe
  24. Big O, I need one also. I bought a kit of type I wanted and made patterens when this one wears out. It looks like it will last longer than store bought. I am into tobacco pipes, so I used that theme to tool on front and back Now the style of wallets. That depends on how much plastic you have. After seeing 40 years of wallets Every one fitted to what was needed to be insdie. No I am not a Pickpocket. Just sold Truck parts. Joe
