  1. You know something? I told you that I haven't figured it out yet and you refuse to let that be it. You've private messaged me over your bullcrap issues and your internal need to have these particular designs done under some timeline that you seem to feel free to dictate. I've told you that I'm not going to hold up someone else's design if I can do it easily just to wait until I figure out the design you want. You have some severe entitlement issues if you think you can berate someone who is essentially doing you a favor. Now you're taking your complaints public. So how about this Buckwheat? I don't know when I'm even going to get it done but as it sits right now, if I ever do figure it out, you're the last person I'm going to give it to.
  2. I am told that this is just a joke and that the product does not actually exist....but that doesn't mean it can't exist
  3. I'm doing a lot better and feeling great but there is a mountain of work on my desk from my day job so that's going to have to take precedence for a while. In the meantime, my wife saw a bucket bag on Pinterest and asked me to work up a pattern based upon that bag and make her one for her birthday. The birthday is next month and my wife has claimed my latest shipment of Horween Baseball Glove leather that I got from Maverick leather for the bag. However, I suspect that Tandy's deertan cowhide will work just as well The print size is 42"X30" Enjoy Tom BUCKETBAG.pdf
  4. The one on the right must be the shroud of Turin version
  5. I know that the gold on the eco-flo is meant to be used as an additive to other stains but has anyone used it straight up? If so...results?
  6. So sorry for my absence of late. I caught a nasty case of the flu that has been going around and it went to pneumonia. I've been in the hospital twice since Christmas and the rest of the time I've been too weak to do much. Starting to feel like my old self and hope to be back soon
  7. ditto on everything Joe said...especially the strap. However, been there before and I'm only too aware of how that extra leather you've been saving for the strap magically withers away as you need to cut another piece to fix that gusset or pocket
  8. My niece came to visit from Texas a couple of days ago and brought her 3 daughters with her, 5. 3, and 6 months. They came out to the shop and saw me working on a bag and the 5-year old asked me if I would make a purse for her for Christmas. I wanted to make something tiny, quick, and easy so I came up with the following pattern. Its a small purse designed to be a cross body or a shoulder bag for a little girl...4-1/2" wide and just under 3" tall with a 1-1/4" gusset. The whole thing prints up on a 8-1/2x11 sheet and you should be able to make use of scraps to put it together, little girls purse.pdf

  12. I did a pattern for a cover to one of those marbleized composition notebooks. Here's the thread http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=58643

  15. ETW Grumpy hit me up with a really easy (like it took 10 minutes to make) pattern for a coin purse. Since my brain was about to be fried working on a much more complex pattern so I decided to take a break and tackle this one. Christmas is coming and I'd like to get as many easy to make/quick gift idea patterns out there as possible The print size is 8-1/2x11 coin purse.pdf
  16. I'm working on this but I'm kind of running into a snag. Do you have any more pictures you can post?
  17. Something that men use to carry toiletries while travelling
  18. I don't think he's nagging...different culture, different language. He's just anxious, I imagine. I'll work on it today. Hopefully later on or maybe tomorrow
  19. Just able to start back filling requests. The following is a couple of weeks old. Pretty easy project, not a lot of sewing or cutting but a heck of a useful Christmas present Final print size is 24"x18" dopp kit.pdf
  20. Every year at the office Christmas party we exchange gifts. The rule is a 30 dollar cap. We put the wrapped gifts on the table and draw numbers for the order in which we get to pick. When your number comes up, you can pick from the wrapped gifts or swap /steal someone else's who then has to go to the table and pick again. Once a gift has Ben swapped 2 times it's safe. Everyone wants to be the gift that is swapped the most because that means you win. But with a 3o dollar cap, it gets tough to come up with ideas. This year I bought 3o dollars worth of leather and am making a messenger bag...we'll see
