Thank you all for your answers and for the link WiterBear. I had asked the person on ebay what it was and this is what he had said "The item is not real Genuine leather, the PU leather mean general leather"

I thought PU was an abbreviation for "Pull Up" leather.

  4. Wow, I thought I had a good deal! That's even better. Thanks So Much for Sharing that, Chuck.
  5. I just thought I'd mention an eBay auction I found for brushes that I use to put Barge on leather. I just buy Barge in tubes and put what I need on the leather and spread it with a brush. The brushes are about 14¢ ea. FREE SHIP** ACID FLUX BRUSHES-144 I have never used a glue pot... I wait till I have a lot of things to glue up and then use a brush to spread the glue. These brushes are inexpensive and are easy to use – the bristles are firm yet soft enough. They work out to about .14 cents each. I am curious though about how long the brushes on a glue pot last. Doesn’t the brush in a glue pot collect dried glue and get hard and difficult to use?
  6. Selling your leatherwork Sure feels good, but even better - When you know someone is using what you have made and it is being appreciated by many. Well Done!

  13. I'm right there with you. Want to and tryin to do too much, not enough time in the day... And a day off work, isn't a day off. Heheheh. But it is a day to do what I really want to do.
  14. Everyone’s circumstances are different than ours… buyers and sellers - some are just doing the best they can, some are handicapped, some are just learning, some are getting better with encouragement… some can’t afford better, some know the seller and are trying to be supportive.... some like the item for a number of reasons and if you knew how bad you made someone feel because of your comments about their work, you might not make it public next time.... I think there is room for everyone to try
  15. Oh Yeah, I can see it... real plain...................... (not) Plain or fancy, your work is Fantastic! Your work should be in the Hall of Fame, or at least you should print up a Big Fancy Picture book with all of your work so far. I doubt anyone disagrees with me.

      Double U Leather

I gotta jump into this fray. My FB page has gotten me tons of orders. I've run a few advertising campaigns on it to target my exact customers. It doesn't cost much, and it goes right to the people I am selling to. I think I've got like 2400 likes, and I've probably gotten at least 50 orders from FB. That, combined with my website, combined with word of mouth, has me almost busier than I want to be. I'm quoting new orders 12 weeks turnaround time. Hope my 4 cents (calculati...

  24. Sorry - there are a couple of Bear's around here and I was just trying to help. You seem to misunderstand and react negatively a lot and that caused me to go and find this, and again I do hope it helps. You’ve probably heard sayings like: “It’s not what happens that matters but how you react (to what happens) that matters” ....... the above sayings refer to how we deal with, manage and react to what happens in our world. here is the rest of the article
  25. That's the website for Barry King - not the Bearman... Here is the link to BEARMAULS and you can contact him from there Hope this helps
