  1. Yes, 11,000 sq. ft..... I've calculated that at making a vest takes me about 40 hours, so one a week. This amount of leather would last me between 10 and 12 YEARS. I don't know of anyone here on this forum, or even in the leather working community that would purchase this kind of inventory. I would think that you will have to work out some other arrangements, especially since shipping as Wolvenstien has stated would be an astrinomical expense, being it comes from Bangledesh. Ken
  2. Thanks Tom, I've often thought about the "Testers" model paints. I can remember way back in the day when I made model airplanes and such. I've been looking to try them on some of my shoulder pieces, but was always a bit worried what would happen. I didn't want to try, and find out that it wouldn't work after the fact. Thanks for the info. Ken
  3. Welcome Tom, good to have you here. Nice looking work, do you us ecova colors on those? Ken

  12. Hey Pip, My question is....why are you useing Vodka to dilute the dye? Up here in Canada we drink the Vodka.

  15. Welcome Steve, Good to have you here. As to wondering what it is you want ot do with leather, as the others have said...just look at everyone elses work and go from there. I got started by wanting to make a leather hat, and from there I went nuts, and now I make pretty much everything. The person i learned from didn't mind me sitting and watching for hours on end while they worked. I would ask questions, and he would answer and show me what he meant. It took some time (close to a year of watching) before I jumped in. Now he calls and has me do a lot of his work for him, and he now calls me "Master". LOL Ken

Glad to have you here, and am looking forward to seeing more of your work. Ken
