Your work is great. I however would be careful with copyrighted material. The movie studios don't mess around. -
Welted, Lined Holster
jstar61 replied to snubbyfan's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
I was just watching your videos on this one last night. Nice holster. -
Yes, I did. I had a hard time with the seam at the baseball stitching separating at the back side. The glue didn't want to adhere as well to the oil tanned leather as it does with veg tan. Overall I'm pleased with how it came out.

This Week In Wallets.
jstar61 replied to artwithapulse's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Great looking wallets. -
Thanks. It's the same piece just two different shots. My photo skills and lack of a real camera don't help.

Finished up a Valet Tray tonight. Black oil tanned, with a hair-on cowhide insert. White braided nylon thread.

Very Nice.

Yeah, I was a bit skeptical at first, with no link or even a pic of the hole punch. At this point I'm thinking it's more than Phishy.
-
Not to sound cynical, but why are you not posting the link? I'm sure everyone would like to see what you are selling.

Those bags are great. As for the prices, I agree they are spot on for one off custom work, and all the detail you have in them.- 8 replies

First Pocket Holster
jstar61 replied to stu925's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Looks good. If you make the back piece a separate piece and only stitch it to the holster at the bottom, it will act as a flap and allow you to get a better grip on the gun when drawing. -
You can, I do it all the time. To import, click on insert tab at the top left.

I use Draftsight at home. It works with a mouse not a pen pad, and you can import picture or other works like a scanned pattern. you can just draw over the picture to create a new pattern. It is also very easy to stretch, re-size or mirror parts or all of a pattern. http://www.3ds.com/products-services/draftsight-cad-software/free-download/

Used your Glock 17 mag holster pattern to make one for a H&K VP9 mag. Had to extend the top 1/4" to fit the VP9 mag. Great pattern. Thanks again. I am currently attempting to use the same pattern to make a 2 mag holder for my Glock 26.

Just downloaded a couple of your patterns. Much appreciated.

Very Nice. I really like the color of the lightest one.
