  5. A very nice looking piece of wood work.......BUT, be careful on moving while you are sitting down, if i were doing it i would have had a wider footprint on the legs.I M H O

  7. Bryan hope this helps you. when i started out doing leather work i went to the Hardware Store and bought Washers in sizes from 3/4 of an inch all the way up to 2", then i was able to cut my belt & strap ends very uniform, of course they were 1/2 round. it worked for me...

    ********************************************************************************* yes the Osborne ones are safe ? .But i dont beleive there is anything written or to be understood that it NEEDS TO BE HEATED RED HOT TO DO WHAT YOU TRIED TO DO. i have HEATED my edge creasers with a heat gun with complete sucess.
  9. Sparks while we are doing the 18th century have you came across a "Fire Bucket" pattern? I have a List to put in one and i thought a Leather Bucket would be great..

  13. Yes it is. the product is a Laquor(sp) base paint for leather.

  15. Monica, the analine dye is not going to work for you......on the Jacket. you will have to obtain a product like "Meltonian- Nu-life Color Spray" this is a product that will work.Check a shoe repair store in your city they have it.

  17. What kind of sewing machine do you have. tension could be wrong,needle dull or bent,hook on the bobbin shuttle is bad, just to name a few.

  22. A few items i did this week and testing out a new camera. the book covers are for the Tennessee Craftsman, a double belt ,2 layers of 6 oz leather dyed black Oil dye ,finished with super sheen and a knife sheath for a Dozer, Arkansas made knife.
