This project has taken quite a bit of time!
I was supposed to get to this one back in march but, had too many issues with my day job and the ol's health.
it's been hard taking care of the jobs i have coming in and catching up on overdue stuff.
i am finally able to see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
anywho...
this seat has 1.5" of push added along with a polymer insert
the p-pad also had a polymer insert. both are mexican round braid laced.
the bag(s)
the large one is 11" wide 12" tall and 5" deep. it's fully lined, reinforced ans saddle stitched.
i also made a mold and wet moulded the gussets.
the small bag (tool bag) attaches to the large bag with pull snaps so it is removable.
it is also lined, reiforced and saddle stitched with the gussets wet molded in a plywood mold.
i am rather happy with the bag as it is the first i have done like this and the first one to be completely saddle stitched.
i hope to start the dye work some time today. i have another set (seat and p-pad) with the seat getting a polymer insert to start today and have back in the mail by next weekend so the dye work will be done inbetween.
the tooling will be black with the rest being faded from buskskin to mahogany to saddle tan.
