they sure carried a lot of good stuff!! hopfully they will keep the better tool line ect. they had stuff that most places didn't
  4. i see my pics are gone from last night as well. i'll have to try and repost them later when i get home
  5. did you try removing the priginal pics? sometimes you need to remove them submit the post then go back and add them again

  7. looks good Kevin! the first one i recall recently with a zippered compartment
  8. i like the color and it's a great improvment over the original cover. Nice!!!
  9. i don't think i got a chance to comment last time you posted. very nice work. i really like your use of color!!
  10. thanks guys! ken... my issues are cropping up when fitting the cover to the seat right now. i am having to fight each one. everything else is going smoothly. my boy plays now and then when i can get him to. he did set most of the rivets on his vest with dad holding the the tool and him doing his best to bruise my hands up LOL! he's 3 1/2.
  11. got so bad i had to put evrything aside and pulled out some black split and made my son a vest. i have since ordere some split conchos and added a couple. hopefully things will start to smooth out here shortly. i have some work to do for some rather important people in the motorcycle biz.
  12. for some reason i am really fighting with every seat i work on right now  it seems to go like this every now and then but, i think i learn the most when this happens and it is quite humbling. i am happy with my tooling however. i think i am getting more consistant from project to project.
  13. nice bill! i don't recall seeing rough-out holsters before
  14. i have done some fairly large seats. they can be quite challenging! you would want to go with a lighter weight leather if the seat is a complex design. this is not a two up but a larger seat and p-pad. i also did the grips and backrest
  15. welcome dave! your tooling looks real good considering you have just started. it along with your lacing will get better with practice. i would have burnished the edges on that cell phone case
  16. well.. i wasn't gonna get in on this but, all this talk inspired me to drop everything and tool some oak leaves up this morning. hope you like!
  17. well done dan! nice job on all the color work
  18. Welcome to leatherworker Jim! I hope you can find the time to stop in now and then! I am a big fan of your work. I've used quite a few of your patterns. Your oak leaves are very inspiring to me!

  20. very cool wallet steve! what tri weave tools are you using? i really like tri weave but need a better quality tool. i use the heck out of my hidecrafter pebblers...wish i could afford some beard tools
  21. Very Nice! i can't wait to see it in person! your tooling looks great and your decorative cuts are well executed
  22. thanks guys! it was a bit different than what i normally make so it was a bit of a challenge to come up with something to fill the whole piece. don... that is why i posted it the way i did
