    I ran some stitches on a piece of scrap and the back stitch isn't hitting in the same holes.

    Needle is good but I have to check the needle to shuttle. First comes the shuttle adjustment, I want to check the timing first. Here are a couple of pictures of the shuttle... There is an adjustment screw (#2) but I can't seem to locate it.

    I had a thread get jammed in the bobbin and I think the timing might now be out of whack. The two pictures show the thread single and then with the arrow back stitched. The single forward stitch looks good but when back stitched it isn't stitching in the same holes which leads me to think the timing might be out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Kevin.

    Snow chains will only work if there's a solid bottom otherwise you'll only do a better job of sinking the vehicle. I would be looking at putting a winch on the vehicle. If you get a receiver mount you can use it front or back.

    I just got word from Emma at Springfield that they are working on an 800 number that will work in Canada and it should be operational in a few days. That's great news adding even more savings from a clients perspective and I hope they see an increase in business because of it. Kevin

    There is a glue eraser available #153-1at Springfield. I use painters masking tape to protect areas from glue and dye. I also use masking tape sometimes to tape small pieces down while they get glued.

    They have an 800 number. http://www.fiebing.com/Contact.aspx I just learned that you should use a damp cloth when applying saddle soap to produce a lather, who reads directions.

    Cheryl, it's only advertised as a cleaner / lubricator , more of an enhancement vs a treatment. To answer your question I would say no but to get the best answer contact the manufacturer. I've only used it on a finished product myself.

    Fleshing is done when the hide is green(fresh flesh). The only way to get that off now would be with a sander. A commercial fleshing machine would work if you can find a taxidermist in your area with one.
