  1. SouthernCross, The main piece of leather is not dyed. I used super shene all over it and antiqued with the Eco flo antique gel since it wouldn't be open to the elements. I don't normally use the Eco flo but, I had it from a previous Tandy order so thought I would use it up.
  2. Welcome MountainDragon!
  3. Geckostraps, I'll take them if no one else has purchased yet. I use paypal! Thanks
  4. Katsass, I just love your post! Everything explained to a T with a little humor added in. Glad to see that you're back in the forum.
  5. Good point Craftsman827... I missed that!
  6. I think it looks FANTASTIC! I've carved gourds in the past but I just couldn't stand the dust. I'll leave the gourd work to you. You do a nice job!
  7. When I posted this question I didn't understand how it's lubricated. And since we can't delete our ignorant posts...here it is for all to see. Thanks for the response goldenstonebazaaar!
  8. Welcome! Good start in leather working!
  9. His description says dye. I have to say, they do look good!
  10. Welcome FarmerGeek, I always like seeing others work! We'll be waiting on those photos!!
  11. Seriously? What will they think of next? My money won't be spent on this product. Thanks for sharing asitcomestome.
  12. Did you use dividers to scribe the border line? The bracelet looks like it might have been too wet when tooled or maybe the edges are irregular.
  13. Kudos to you...I bet that WAS hard to work with! I have never used it.
  14. You won't get them to look like one piece...If you lace it (double stitch technique) instead of sew it you will cover the raw edge. I suppose you could make the cover slightly larger and slick the edge before you sew on the interior.
