Paprhangr, My husband fabricated the pan and we had it painted to match the bike which I will post photos of later. This bike is entered in the Full Throttle Bike invitational down in Florida in a couple weeks. I hope we get everything wrapped up soon. This is very stressful .

My Latest Projects
benlilly1 replied to shinelightshine's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
VERY nice work, Nick! -
When you wipe off the antique try not to wipe it out of the crevices. You may have used too much super sheen.(I don't let my antique sit. I immediately dry it off.) You could even go back and take a wet cloth and wipe off the excess on the completely black piece and see if it lightens. Tandy leather factory has a video you need to watch on antiquing. Tandy has several how-to videos.

Making Boston Bag

Super cool bag! -
I've had some oiled leather laying around for a while so I made a seat using it. It has that worn used look. A pain to fit the top since it acts like a piece of rubber and wants to shift while lacing. The cure is to cut the top as small as possible so no buckles or movement.
