Just Finished a Couple of New Holsters
ArtS replied to ArtS's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Thanks Tom. No, not my invention. Wish it was. You put the gun in and snap it shut. When you need to draw it you just grab the gun grip and use your thumb to break open the snap. One quick, easy motion. ArtS -

Looks great. I love the colors. Do you sew the seams or just lace them? ArtS

I like it. When I first looked it reminded me of an old saddle that my father in law has. Well done. ArtS

I'm in GA and our weather is great. It's just people panicking about the gas not being available or having a high price. The gov. here also implemented the gouging regulations. One station went up to 5.51 per gal then after it was reported they lowered it $.75 a gal. The weather in TX looks pretty bad. I hope everyone stays safe! You all are in my prayers. ArtS

On the way home I tried to get gas and everyone had panicked because of the storm and bought gas. All the stations for 30 miles on the way home were out! Finally the one near home still had some and I was able to fill up. Soon after I left they were out too. ArtS

Who makes the FXR? IS that a cruiser or sport bike? I had seen bibs made with laces to tie under the front fork and under the seat so that is the way I did the one that I made for my brother in law's Harley. We'll see how well it works out. After he saw it he asked how it was attached. I was tempted to scare him and tell him I glued it on. LOL ArtS

That really looks cool Tom. Your "mistake" makes it even better in my opinion. I really like that double lacing. The colors and antiquing look great. ArtS

You sure do beautiful work! I don't sew as well with my Artisan as you do. It's not the sewing machine but me needing more practice. ArtS -
