  2. Wow! That is a really beautiful job! ArtS
  3. I'm making a tank bib for my brother in law's Harley. What is the best thing to coat it with and how do they hold up if gas is dripped on it? Thanks, ArtS
  4. Doug, I've been waiting since about March for mine. I have the Artisan 3000. You may have a longer wait than 90 days so try a work around. ArtS

    Hemp leather molded

They want to know how well it smokes. He's making a joke. That is what he means by 'How does it burn?'. ArtS
  6. Leather Crafters & Saddlers Journal. It a great Leather magazine. http://www.leathercraftersjournal.com/ It not only has articles but patterns. ArtS
  7. Rolf, Welcome aboard! You will enjoy yourself here. There is a large variety of leather crafters here. You have some really nice work. You shop is much too clean though. LOL ArtS
  8. They have a better model on sale now for $14.99. Item # 95810-3HYH The kit you listed would probably be ok for basic stuff. I use a good one that I bought years ago when I was in art school but I started out with a basic one before I bought that. A Farrari is nice, but if a good 'ol Ford is all you need then get the Ford. Guitar Pick Guard

That looks great. What color is the guitar? Do you glue it on or just screw it on? ArtS

    Another New Guy

Great work Aaron! I'm glad that you were able to post them. I also really like that gorilla. ArtS
  11. Those look great! I'll send you the material and a dollar. I need one for my 9mm. LOL Which issue was that pattern in? Thanks, ArtS
  12. I bought a German translation program years ago to translate a letter to my Aunt overseas. We I tried it then sent it to my mother to see how it read. It was a mess and I just put it away. It made no sense. It made the same mistakes that I make by translating directly and not changing the sentence structure. ArtS
  13. That is a cool bike! A great job on the leather. It really looks wicked. ArtS
  14. Would that be the August issue? I just bought it yesterday and I'm looking for the article. ArtS
  15. I've never used any HO but I buy Wicket & Craig leather which is excellent. They sell one or a hundred at a time and they will thin it to whatever thickness that you want. You can also get it pre-dyed. Call 800-826-6379 x-222 or ask for Glenn. ArtS
  16. The first place that I always try is google search using the images at the top instead of the web search. I did a search on skull and bones and it brought up a bunch. Here are a couple. ArtS
  17. Good job Tom. The only thing I would do different is sew the loops on instead of the rivets. I would also reverse the rivets so that the flat side was on the top. ArtS
  18. Crow - A WEEK! I might be able to do that if I had a year and no job to go to. WOW. EXCELLENT!!! Where can I get instructions to cover a ring like that? I want to cover one for the saddle that I'm making for my father in law. Thanks, ArtS
  19. Awesome! I like them both but lean towards the rattler. I wonder if anyone has ever attached the rattle on the end of a knife sheath. Great job. ArtS
