    I'm no pro but personally I think what works for you is ideal. For different holsters you may decide to do it different ways. Form follows function. If something doesn't work well do it differently the next time. I like to experiment and see what works. ArtS

    Shirley is amazing as always! She can take a piece of simple leather and turn it into something you want to pin up on your ceiling! I want to ride with the girl in the picture! ArtS

    Josh, If you get a good teacher you're going to learn a ton not just about saddle making but different aspects of leather working. If you can get a hold of any videos or books on saddle making that will help but your teacher may use another approach so be prepared to do some things differently. ArtS
