    I made this pillow from some economy suede dark brown, pig suede for the fringe and cut the lace from economy suede. I cut the "S" out using a hole punch to get the scallop edge effect. I put hair on cow behind the "S" and glued and then hand stitch with natural wax thread. The dark brown suede had one side with a unique finish so I decided what the hay lets use that side. First time doing a pillow.

    I have used the water stains with no problems. I found that just a consistent circle motion and not over saturating th sponge works well. I have used the blue, black, red and the cordivan color with very good results. Also the brown works well, when I first used the brown it looked like maroon but when it dried over night it was very nice brown. I pour my dye on a plate and just dab the sponge about three times to load it up. Hope this helps you.

    Very handsome. Love your stamping design. Glad to see stamping is still used. You can really get intricate with stamping.
