WHY do I have to get these things? ? ? ? all down my right arm and hand OWWWWWWWWWWWWW on drugs but still OWWWWWWWWWWWWW if they just hadn't hit the hand - I think I could live with them till they were gone but one half of my hand is covered..... My two last fingers feel like someone tied a rubber band at the base -- way too tight (try it sometime) and they "feel cold" to me but they arn't really. OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

well they saw the other one go for 75 $ and figure they are getting a good deal.......

RAy you might not need more light fixtures just better light bulbs we used to use 100 watt floodlight bulbs (the kind with the silver back) so that ALL the light from the bulb is going OUT and not just hitting the reflector. (I wonder if a couple of Heat Lamps would help keep you warm. A good cloak would help too...) don't use bright white sheets for table cloths - reflection from the lights - go with a cream color. works much better. You still get the light color but not an in your face white. And besides if you go with a cream color -- little dirt scuffs don't show as bad..... The wire rack thing is a great idea -- I used to use a sheet of cardboard sometimes with curtian hooks in it -- they were the kind shaped like a u and the tail of the u was a sharp pointy pin and went in the cardboard pretty easy. Cover the cardboard with a heavier cloth (corduroy) and pin away. merry selling

Maybe it is the same guy who bought the first one? see he has to have a "backup" in case the first one breaks......

oh my Bearman those sure are pretty just curious about what all the woods are? The two on the top (2nd and 3rd from the left) are just about the "purdiest" wood I have seen in a long time......

just be SURE to use glass to roll it out on if you are going to leave it for any length of time. If you use a plastic anything and leave the clay sit on it for awhile it will "eat" right into it. (don't ask how I know - says the woman with a cutting board with a hole in it) and don't use that rolling pin for food anymore -- poly clay can leave toxic stuff behind. a nice thick glass bottle works well too. (like a beer bottle)

Just got my order from Springfield leather -- one ounce (more or less) chocolate brown leather for "Barbie Stuff" about 7 square feet of it -- Bab's is going to get quite a lot of leather clothes I think. I talked to a very sweet lady on the phone and she was very helpfull to this person who doesn't know how to discribe "exactly" what they want in "leather terms" and yes I told them I came to them from Leatherworker.net.

Ray -- Idea time do you have the space to make a shelf system out of 2x4's or some piece of wood take your jar lids and nail them to the board hang on a free bit of wall like a shelf - the jars will screw into their lids and just hang there if you use PLASTIC jars you don't have to worry about dropping them so much. and you could put little baskets on the top of the 2by4 for bigger things like buckles seems like you have the jars -- just need to sort them out somehow.

ohhh - thanks I am sure that the people on the "barbie doll" forum will be intrested in this as well

More inexpensive or free ways to drive web traffic
Suze replied to UKRay's topic in Marketing and Advertising
Good ideas Ray -- but check your local laws about advertising a business in your home. You might just have the "tax man" on your doorstep - especially if you "just haven't gotten around to buying that business license yet" some towns DON'T want signs in driveways. (Garage sale signs in some places are also a no-no) PS - how is your show coming along? ? -

Maybe...... Working on a Viking barbie --- real -- not Wagner Viking Barbie Didn't know you had "really thin leather" down there..... Good thing the poor girl will be wearing a cap. To get her braids down to "beliveable" I had to get rid of most of her hair in the back....

people who think they know everything!
Suze replied to leatheroo's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
I always say that I know a little bit about a LOT of things - and a lot about a FEW things but heaven help me I NEVER say that I know EVERYTHING there is to know about something. and there are times I can look at something and just "know" how it is made (which freaks some people out) even if it is something I have never done before..... Ask Jo about that one.... -
creepy very good
