Ten Peeves that Dogs Have About Humans '1' Blaming your farts on me..... not funny... not funny at all !!! -------------------------------------------------- '2' Yelling at me for barking. I'M A DOG, YOU IDIOT! -------------------------------------------------- '3' Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly whose walk is this anyway? -------------------------------------------------- '4' Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose. Stop it! -------------------------------------------------- '5' Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home. -------------------------------------------------- '6' The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw. You fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo what a proud moment for the top of the food chain. ----------------------------------------- --------- '7' Taking me to the vet for 'the big snip', then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back! -------------------------------------------------- '8' Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests. Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet. -------------------------------------------------- '9' Dog sweaters. Hello ??? Haven't you noticed the fur? -------------------------------------------------- '10' How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, we both know the truth. You're just jealous. ---------------------------------- ---------------- Now lay off me on some of these things. We both know who's boss here! You don't see me picking up your poop do you? EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY. A DOG ALWAYS OFFERS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. CATS HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT!

soooo nice. Kevin, how long does it take you to make a standard wallet from start to finish? -
I know everyone has a favorite pair of boots. We wear them until they are falling apart and this is when they are most comfortable. Just when they are at their best, they usually get thrown out by our partners and the very long journey to find another pair must begin. The photo i have posted shows my pair of RM Williams, a very famous brand in Australia. This womens style use to sell for over $300 but i was lucky enough to spy them at a second hand stall at a local market. I bought them for $40 and have worn them every winter, all winter and will for many to come. Leathernetters....show your boots!!

Its amazing how long we keep leather stuff we have made. I made this bag 25 years ago and used it as a bag for a while. It just hangs on a door knob now and i keep scarves(scarfs?) in it. I cringe at the way i have attached the handle to the bag part which was knitted in the traditional way with leather lacing.

Freak, it is only one piece of leather, but i'm not sure what the weight would be...here in australia leather is sold by the thickness. This leather is veg tanned calf skin and is call 1mm. This is about the thinnest leather i can find. Tina, i use a combination of leather dyes and acrylic paints. This mask was black leather dye with a touch of gold added. The red (the photo makes it look pinkish) is an acrylic fabric paint that is luminescent. I use an airbrush to apply then apply a spray of sealer. cheers

WOW... i am soooo impressed. I had no idea the work that went into your bracelets, but no wonder, as they are so beautiful!

Finished another mask, i have called him the Warrior. Proudly modelled on the head i use for mask molding. I resisted the urge to quick dry in the oven and let him dry overnight!

I thought i would do some carving for a change. i spent hours cutting and carving and stamping and i was really pleased with the result. i made a playing card folder for my son. i had shaped it into the shape of a deck of cards and i couldn't wait to dye it. As it was wet molded it need to dry, so to hurry it along i decided to dry it in my convection oven(combination oven and microwave). I have done this many times with my masks and have the oven at the lowest setting. i set the oven for 10 minutes. STUPID ME...in my haste i put the oven on microwave instead of oven, the result was a rock hard shrivelled up piece of leather that went straight in the bin.
