Actually I am a female and feel free not to buy if you think it is too expensive. Perhaps a constructive comment along the lines of a recommended price would be more helpful though. I have a saddlery store and am happy to accept PayPal so yes you do have buyer protection and also I have a Store Policy of 100% money back guarantee if your not happy. Thanks Electrathon for your quiet support I appreciate it. Just thought I would offer the lace here to assist members since Kangaroo appears to be so expensive there. regards Johanne (female)

Hi Bernie, Beautiful as always. Question did you braid this like the Argentine style with the base strands wrapped round and the others woven through them or did you braid just like a normal braid. And...any tips on keeping your pattern straight and not twisting? Johanne

So the grey sort of marks on the scraped hide are not colour from ash? I have only ever tried to get rid of hair using lime and nearly stunk the place out doing it but the hide came out quite light in colour. I never see rawhide here (Australia) that has that blue/grey colour to it. Just wondering how it got like that. Thanks

That would be fabulous and would certainly help with the stress levels here

Hi, I love your bosals. :helpsmilie:I get totally stuck with the heel knots have you done any step by steps on the interweaves?? I have been looking on the forum but cant find anything. I get totally lost after the first interweave. If I am really, really lucky and all the starts etc are aligned I can sometimes manage a second interweave but then get confused as to how I did it (yep I am blonde). I have seen lots of posts on the forum of others also confused with the same problem. Since you can do such great braiding could you please do some instructions for interweaves of point me in the right direction. Thanks in hope Johanne

Hi, A question if I may, The greyish colour on the photo of the scraped hide is this a result of the ashes and if so is this why the rawhide in the braided reins has that same blue/grey colour. Will it come out? and to get the creamy white colour do you have to bleach it and finally...(sorry) how would you do the bleaching. Thank you very much for posting all the information and pictures you do I find it a tremendous help and really interesting. Johanne

Hi, Kevin King has posted a video on how to make these edges the link is http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=44293 In the case of the cuffs etc the final sewing to secure the binding after the Stitch tape would include the lining fixing all three layers in one hit. Can I re-ask who made the red cuffs set please Johanne

Hi I am cleaning up and would like to sell of the excess Kangaroo lace I have It is White 1/8" (3mm) wide machine cut and bevelled or uniform thickness. They are all new upopened packages. I have 44 of 10 metre long packages and 7 packs which are 20 meters long. I was thinking of $14.50 per 10 meter with a flat $13.00 postage no matter how many you buy. If you are in Australia postage is free If you think this is way too expensive please let me know this is my first sale of this kind and that is what I paid for them. Please PM me if you are interested. Johanne

Change is inevitable.. Software does get updated and as it does things like forums, facebook etc have to update also or stop working. Although it might be a nuisance initially due to a different look after a while you wont even notice, I think it is a great opportunity to explore and "click around" to see new things and maybe old things that you didnt notice before. One thing about us humans we are adaptable. I would like to thank Johanna for the fantastic effort she puts into this forum, allways polite and helpful, a huge job and your effort is much appreciated my myself as well as a lot of others. Thanks and keep up the good work. Change is stimulating and we should welcome it as an opportunity to learn. Johanne
