  1. Looks great. I have the same tool, and others from this company. Great stuff. Your case is awesome.
  2. Oh yes, agree on the welt, all of my sheaths have a welt for sure. But sometimes I do that double stitch thing at the top and sometimes not, that is what I was referring to.
  3. Yes it has a welt, I think it is overkill, sometimes I do sometimes not, probably not needed. The first few stitches are a much heavier cord material, I hope for additional strength there. The color stitching then matches the line colors and the pins on the knives.
  4. Just finished these as well as a group of knives.
  5. Wow incredible process video. Why is it that everything looks easy when you watch someone that knows what they are doing HA. Superb craftsmanship. What bevel knive did you use on the belt loop openings?
  6. Yep the basket weave is really nice. I think a lot of people might look at it and think no big deal. Till you try it. Getting it to look like these is not easy!
  7. Just picked up these two from www.facebook.com/turnedwriteart . Really nice work in cocobolo. What I liked is the guy will customize to about anything you want. I specified certain radius that I required for my application and he made them up in really short order. Really happy with these. He is also on insragram @turnedwrite ..
  8. My father always used to say when he did woodworking that the project didn't count unless you got a little blood on it. Ha. Nice knife! Neil
  9. Sergey, it would be great if you could post other partial or complete suggested patterns with your stamps. I liked the look of the Dragons scale stamp, but was not sure of a good application. I do mainly knife sheeths. This type of approach would be awesome. So would love to see how you guys, or some of your other customers used the tools. Once I get some stuff done, I will post as well. Neil
  10. I just received my order of 4 stamps. Tried a small order as a test. Very quick service. Shipment to Thailand, no issues. And really beautifully machined and crafted stamps. Have not banged on any leather yet, but for sure looks like they wont dissapoint. Neil
  11. I bought these new in the mid 60's I think. Always wanted to get good at figure carving, I thought these would help. Guess what? I never got good at figure carving.
  12. Fall of '65 through Fall of "66. Also under the heading, never throw anything out! Ha.
  13. Yes I just took a quick look now. No for sure these are no longer offered.
  14. Never throw anything away. I think I got these it the early to mid 60's when I first started doing this.
  15. It is worth the effort to track down some loc tite. I have had the Crazy Glue fail a few times. Loc tite, never.
  16. I really like the red/orange stiching on the dark leather, looks great.
  17. Looks like it will get the job done.
  18. Hi I agree with @bikermutt07 I like the color, and I like the distressed look. Really nice.
  19. Pinky and the Brain - the best! Very nice post.
  20. Agree, the tooling, coloring and exectution is really top notch.
