    Another mask

Allready been drooling over this one at your site. It's awsome Tom. Don't wear it around the forest around deer hunting season, lol! Tom
  2. Fantastic!! Looks like the innerpiece of veg tan has molded edges onto wich the black leather is sewn and turned but my guess is that the camera lies a bit here. Anyway it still is a fantastic gorgeous work of art. Tom
  3. Congratulations! Great achievement!! Will you throw a release party in the live chat tonite??? Tom
  4. Can't resist posting AWSOME to this one. I agree about the eye, looks very authentic and another thing that draws my attention is the headstall ( or whatever it's called), I'm certain that when viewed IRL it looks just like it is really a braided one. Tom
  5. Thank you fot the tip Hilly but picture this, a totally bald guy with a totally bald dog, funny thought at first but in the long run...well, maybe not after all. Tom
  6. Thank you Anne. I look forward to it. As you might have seen now I like to make another one and lace it from the back. Thanks Snap, glad you like it! Tom
  7. Thanks alot Craftsman, I take a deep bow for you! That's a very nice thing to hear. I actually did lotsa mistakes along the way on this one, like forgot to colour the innerleather before starting braids, lol. Also learned that when you push the lacing needle through the holes the fourth time it is so tight that you actually start to push out the existing braids outer loop of lace wich is not very noticeable but yet, one want to do the very best one can, so for next one I'll work it so that the needle pushes in from the front and out to the rear. The devil is in the details;-) I can't take full credit for this one. Rene, Anne, Roo and leathercat is as much part of it. I'd love to be able to do that leather stone instead of the vikingshield. Tom
  8. Good one Anne! I'm sure you do well at the fair! Have fun! Tom
  9. Thanks Ian, Highly appreciate yor advice! The supplier here make it look like it'll only work with the specific grounder/glue and top finish but they're humble enough to admit they don't now much about goldleafing and brought it in due to popular request. I'll have to try around a bit when I get into it. Also try what background colours do what to it then. Thanks! Tom
  10. So Luke really has a cousin in Ludlow, gosh who am I then...Pip, hurry send the whitecoats over, I'm losing it again Nice to meet you Ray and you too Corax (I suppose). Looking forward to see more of you and your stuff, hope you get that connection sorted out. I helped my mom with here troublesome puter all afternoon today so I got more than my fair share of dealing with that mess. Good luck with it and may the ravens be with you! Tom
  11. We had an Irish wolfhound that managed to swallow a whole bird IN ONE PIECE before my dad had the chance to yank it out of his mouth so when it was due the other end dad had to help. Said he'd never puked so much in his entire life! It's a darn cute little fella, wish we weren't allergics in the house. I'm grown up with dogs but developed the allergi in my mid twentys. ENJOY!! Tom
  12. Thank you Bro!! No skulls but these types sure are rocking. Already got addicted to having this one on my arm. Tom
  13. IT does look good. I wonder how gold leaf stands the test of time, rub-off, leather bending back and forth etc. Got two (possibly three) overwinter orders for rifle cases and one was very interested in gold-leafing logotype instead of, as he said, the standard gold nameplate. Tom
  14. Very nice and good looking Pegasus! The colouring is fantastic, I never be able to learn that I think. Tom
  15. Ah good point there, it's just so tasty I tried recently alot with bonefolder and gum trag, think I try your method with water instead.Tom
  16. That's a really nice collar for your cat and don't I love this colour scheme. Lucky cat, if he only knew! Tom
  17. Looking really good Anne! I really want to see the rest so come on, you can do it. First is worst then you'll get into the flow. Tom
  18. I just suck at it Tom
  19. I love colour scheme seems new to me with celtic style, very refreshing and inspiring. It looks very good To me it seems like Celts/vikings used these types of knotwork just like you do, it's great decoration. I do know that the dragon/snakes on the runestones in vikingage and early christian Scandinavia is used to bind in whatever powers the originator of the stone want's to put into it. It's utterly important that this dragons/snakes bodys and limbs always crosses one under one over and that is to bind the dragon/snake itself to the stone so the dragon keeps the power, the stone keeps the dragon. Don't know if the celts uses a similar technique in their practice but I'd love to hear about it from someone who knows about about celts practice. Anyone?? Tom
  20. Thanks Pip and Busted! I also wanna thank Anne Newkold for getting all this started. Thank you Anne Tom
  21. Ha ha I have a split personality, one is here and the other is in LUDLOW........................ Tom
  22. Naeh no people here. There are lotsa we strictly follow. But I sometimes do posts with the houseband. We have a and and a guy and an singer. Oh forgot the The audience love us ...we think . Other than that we mostly talk about pounding dead cows and around here. Well better stop . aboard! Tom
  23. That's just awsome! Tom
  24. Very cool seat and odd shape wich one can say about the bike too. Nice design and layout, the tribal flames seems suiting to this bike. Smooth basketstamping! Tom
  25. Now I see the billfold! Looks really great, that lacing is tight and smooth. I've never done these type of motif but I think it looks very good with clean lines and good use of the tools. I sure can understand people in general is not looking into this kind investment for a rodtube, heck I haven't got the means to build one for myself. It's just a nice thing for those really die hard fanatics with rods and reel that costs equally much. Having a leather tube is luxury, having it personally designed with name logotypes, all mexican roundbraid etc is quite overkill when you walk into the fishingcamp. I hope! Tom
