Oh now you got me thirsty! I love the scotch whisky!! I like the blue one because of it's simiplicity and how you got the blue down with the black bursting edges but now that I fully see your logo I gotta say that one is way cool. Just love the outcome of that theme. Gimme a drink!!! Tom

Not to low anyways, then you'll get lot's of requests and work to much for too little and get frustrated, too high and you don't get any orders at all, lol, but upping the price is very difficult if you sell "mouth to mouth" reputationwise. Pricing is difficult, I try to propose a fairly high price and try to detect the reactions of the customer. If they are allright with the price I'll let them know that it was a bit on the low side and to spread the actual higher price when passing on info.

Welcome to the board! That's some great looking stuff and those bracers have a really cool design. I look forward to see more! Tom

Thank you brotha Freak! I added some accent for you. Used to be fluid in English in my younger days but nowadays doesn't get to much practice with speaking so I was embaraased bout it all week in Scotland in my May but my friends anyway thought it was best to let me deal with speaking to locals when we needed specific information, lol. My Engliss school lessons started when I was nine but I'd already started picking up on how to speak it from watching telly then. When/if you get here I'll see to it that you get a nice brew I'd say it's very easy to find tranquility here if you go to places north of Stockholm (beware of mosquitos) and if you're into big city life Stockholm probably is the only place to visit here since a normal large city here is walked through in a bout 30 mins and that says it about BIG city life. Thanks BigAlC! We sure had our share in rally driver and great athletes too. Buying any alcoholic beverage can produce a problem if not planned for, sigh! One must locate an open shop called systembolaget to buy. Often there is only one of those in a city. Monopoly by the Swedish government to control our drinking. Lots of lakes here, I'd pick the northern ones for favourite since there's not to much trout in the southern ones. Tom

Being all alone and no one to talk to in my own tongue shure has shown in my posting ratio. Since the big crash I've managed to end up as as number one in the top poster page and finally I have found a very talented colleague here in Sweden, just one hour drive away. After founding his website I sent him a mail and he rang up and I can tell you I've now broken the record for "my longest call on cellphone" He makes some seriously nice stuff and is a competent leatherworker so I just wish to welcome him aboard today and hope you all give him a warm welcome! His profile here: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showuser=7060 and at myspace you can see some nice stuff he has made: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endid=398172205 The orientation is mainly viking themed. I think it looks super and like how it came out with this lacing style. Heck, if it were mine I'd just try to fix that velcro strap and go as it is. Would be interesting to see how it looks a after a couple of years in mudservice. Tom -
Thank you Roo! I'll have a looksee tonite and try to get a decent scan and post the pattern wich will be tomorrow morning for you then and afternoon to our regular friends in US.

Well I'm just worked my way through this bracer wich is for a customer in Wales UK, disregard my post if it is not ok to apply with commercial product.. There will also be a female version as an sort of engegement thing. Both is heathen minded and into viking stuff so I choose this motif with the two dragons and the uniting ring (that leaps through the hammerhead). It is suiting that the dragons is back to back because He live in Wales but She lives in Sweden so the turned backs is representing the huge gap between them. This is not the typical dragons we see on vikingtime runestones and I'm not sure if this exact type exists at all historically on the stones here in Sweden but they're not far off. Tha golden figure is the hammer of Thor, god of thunder. He is pulled in his chariot by two goats (tanngrisner and Tanngniostr) and this makes the sound of rolling thunderas the chariot roll across the sky during the thunderstorms. He is known to strike first and ask questions later. He carry a hammer with a shaft that is to short and it never misses when he throws it upon something, mostly giants. He is the bane of giants. On top of the hammer there is two sets of birds heads. I think the top one is a falcon and the one below an eagle but not sure, memory fails me. This hammer was found in a viking grave or burial mound in Skåne, Sweden. I've heard that the hammer as an powersymbol from the vikingage is so strong that it is the reason why for example judges and people with high influence/power use them as an item to manifest there power, decision, ruling etc even today. The bracer itself is an archers type really and ties at the side of the arm and gives good protection from the bowstring and rigid support yet good movement to the bowarm. It is very comfy to wear. The construction phase is available at my blog if anyone would be interested. Well.. you know me, I'm Tom and can't stop meself writing

It is so strange....to read Roger above the avatar, lol even though I know that is your name. Really cool seat, the motif is very well suiting to the shape of the seat. Love the colour. Tom

Hey, those rock and, wow, beautiful in naked leather like that. I did something in this fashion a while ago when there was somekind of braided bracer spree going on here (using a simplified mexican weave) and I was a bit concerned that the lace on the inside was gonna pinch at the sides of the arm where they are more curved so I lined it just in case. Hows your experience with this! Keep it up! Tom

Hey Darryl! Nice pics! A decent camera is always good and now I expect to see some darn fine closeups of your next project. I noticed you were out taking pics all day yesterday;-) Tom

Storms right and there's a bunch of people from around LA here so you're in good company! Welcome! Tom
-
You're doing an outstanding job and all alone in Sweden I appreciate it very much!! Tom
-
Beautiful work Storm It look's great in construction too. This one will be worn with pride. Tom

Darn good looking bracer. That backgrounder is excellent and addictive and lovely skull. I really like the crossed drumsticks as I just to play the drums a looooong time ago. Good work! Tom

You're so right! I honestly did thought about lining the pair of bracers I'm working on with thin veg. It's sorta engagement thing for a couple and is gonna have text inside BUT the type of bracer they choosed is not suited for this I think, oh that was disappointing. I thought having some kind of banner scroll with a text they provided me. You keep it up as a reminder to the rest of us, I'm definetly gonna use it. Tom
