  2. He he I was just being pollite;-)
  3. That is a beautiful lamp. I really like the look of the inside with that leaf design. Tom
  4. Oh now I get it. Haven't seen those around here since the 80's so it didn't strike me. I guess it good for those who have hair Tom, the one who always seek the shadow and is pale as a ghost.
  5. Looking real good Storm! I second Darryl, let's see a finished when when you one complete. I'm so curious if the hat is gonna be leather or not. Making the hat bit seems soooo difficult and I don't envy you if you set out to do it. Nice going with the carving and tooling of those leafs and flowers. Tom
  6. Thanks alot, I got some backgrounding coming up and that would fit nicely. Think I have that one so maybe I'll try it. Tom
  7. Thank you Darryl! Yeah it's good advertizing and that is needed. Tom
  8. Ok, I know I can be tempting to peoples nerves but just gotta show of my freshly made t-shirt. Why haven't I thought off that before. We're having a HUGE punkrevival this weekend with lots of people and many that I haven't seen in many years, since I need to work with orders I make the best out of this evening as an marketing opportunity and walk around in this one. Tom
  9. Ha ha I love this story and YES I do recognize myself in this, lol. Thanks for sharing and may I say, I won't show this to my fiance' (spelling?) HA! Tom
  10. I just agree with what everybody else said, it looks great and don't we all look back at our first work and smile when we rember how proud we were over that piece! Tom
  11. That is a very nice and smooth piece! I'm very impressed with the backgrounding it looks very smooth and even so I gotta ask you, when background with this tool, do you overlap or place it side to side? Wonderful work! Tom
  12. Good idea Max, off course I should have attached a pic when it was ready. Got my hands full so it slipped but I got 'em posted in show off for sure. Tom
  13. That is one smoking hot seat Kevin! I love the ace of spades theme mainly because of the Motörhead song. That must have been lots of hours in making and the owner of this one hopefully understand what it took to get it done. Congrats to an amazing piece of art! Tom
  14. Close shot Busted, photocritic is more like it but same rules apply basically. Tom
  15. Some great stuff there! Thanks for sharing! Tom
  16. Thank you craftsman! This is might be good material to sell that way. They are easy and quick in the makings allthough at carshows one would be worried about copyright infringements since your'e likely to run into people of companies like Chevy so for shows one would have to concentrate on flames, tribals and own designs. I have a feeling that general swedish guy doesn't understand the serious risk in putting established brand on an item to sell and just say -Öh, I drive chevy (or whatever), don't you have those? -No! -Oh crap, I only want a chevy logo! -Well dear Sir, I could make you a custom one with your carclubs logo (or whatever), of course with a slightly higher price but a one off custom piece! -Nah, they sell 'em at the lowprice market with chevy logo, better save my money for (watered down tap) beer (in a plastic cup). Am I feeling blue or what, lol. Anyways I have discarded alot of people with this attitude in the past when they have been looking at my bracers. I tell them to wait for the big summer festival here and get those cheap massproduced Taiwan leatherputty ones instead. Well let's leave it at that. I'm just very tired. Tom
  17. WHOA DUDE!!! That is one frigging AWSOME cellphone holder. I'm totally blown away. The coolfactor scale has to be refined after this one. The looks of this is just Sometimes we have to let go of the goodies too. Tom
  18. Looking good! Those long lines to carve aint particular fun but makes all the difference to a border freak like me. Nice to hear you're on the go and get orders! Tom
  19. That looks great, very smooth and nice. I have to second other opinion bout pulling our legs here, lol. Welcome to a fun addiction (don't know if I mean leathworker.net or leatherwork here;-) Tom
  20. Thank you Pavilionpony and Spider. I'd like to see him go barefoot, lol. Flaws, well the leather is not very good looking in itself really and the patterns I got from his car is kind of crooked and so are those pedalpads. I just didn't want to waste to much energy on this first setup. Tom
  21. Oh, thank you so much everyone! 1 2 3 4 One pint for all of you, come back for more when glass is empty, bars are open 3 more hours here in Sweden. I just knew I'd get that spelling wrong, typical me , oh darn oh darn! Don't know how I will fasten them but the originals seem to have slip-on rubber type pads or perhaps it is soft plastic so if I can slide them of I'll prolly make some holes to strip them down on those slip-ons and just slide it all back on. Let it sit over winter, yeah, with all that snow and boots with bits of gravel stuck in between and see how it holds up. They prolly get ruined but it's collected experience with scraps I wanna just get rid off anyways. One thing I thought was to cover them with form cut plexiglass pieces, grind patterns into them to avoid slipping the foot on pedal AND illuminate them with coloured 12V LED's on the sides wich would make a cool glow in the dark. We'll see about that, they're kinda small to make this perfect if I'm gonna get the leather to show through aswell. Also plexiglass scratches easy. Electrathon nailed my original thought but as stated, for now it's just gathering experience. Tom
  22. This is a pedalset I made for my brother. It's a quickie I made up just to have something to try and experiment on his car with. So bare with the obvious flaws on this one. It's nothing more than a first rounder and they're kinda slippery so maybe not so good in safety aspects. Also have to work out how to fasten them in a secure way so this pair is likely to get ruined in the process. I'll set him up with better looking ones when all issues is resolved. I added gold in the black dye after a tip from Roo. It looks very good in reality. Tom
  23. You've outdone yourself this time!! Freaking awsome! Everything bout it looks really professional and those leaves on the last pic, could have sworn it was two layers if I didn't know. Did you use the hairblade on the leafs? It looks great. Nice basketweaving too. This place sure is great for picking up skill, I must force some time myself now. Now go get yourself a cold one, you've deserved it! Tom
