BADABING!! Excellent idea! Now, should I go with the casket shape for those...hm well I just keep that idea in mind. Looks like I got some work building rodcases over summer and a few other projects too. Building a dogridebox for an MC, maybe. Tom
  2. Hello and Welcome Ian! Nice to see yet another English neighbour here. I'm all alone from Sweden I think but we have a couple of US based Swedes here. Tom
  3. Very impressive! I know there are talented crafters there and tried to find some on location last week but no luck except for one but she made no complex designs. Good find! Tom
  4. Very nice Storm! Hope we get to see finished one! Tom
  5. Black n reds!! Now you're really tempting me. Ouuh that is so nice and love that frog?leather. Great job and as allways Tom
  6. Beautiful, just loves those fishing motifs. Glad to be of help! Tom
  7. Not very good when resizing up cuz of the high compression but you should be able to pull a decent transfer from it. Good luck! Tom
  8. Wow, they are so really cool and neat. Goood job Tom! This must be another barrel than the one I commented before? Tom
  9. Oh thank you Spider. Missed your reply because of the Scotland trip and hard to catch up with all things at home and such. Got plenty of labourful hours ahead now. Smart tip with the lighter. This one was so fun to do and the motifs were a blastful of fun to carve and tool. Tom
  10. Yeeezz! That looks just to good, almost scared a skullfreak off the chair just now;-) Love to see BIG pic of that one. WOW again! Tom
  11. Hi and welcome!! Nice looking bag, I like the colours on it and celtic is always nice to the eye. Tom
  12. That looks awesome, thanks for the tip. I wonder how much pressure one would need to imprint larger leathers. I'd like this for the flyfishing rodtubes someday. Tom
  13. I can see what you're not happy about but it really is a nice barrel anyway. I was thinking a small inflatable ball could work for the molding. Just put it in empty, inflate to desired bulge of the barrel is achieved and then deflate but I don't know where to get small balls with working inflate mechanism but it should work with a good pump. Overall look is really nice anyway and the plug is a nice touch too. Woodgrain looks good so you got your practice done allright. Thanks for the insights of making it! Tom

WOW Storm, First is to die for. Absolutely stunning. The other ones are great too but that first one is just so realistic. I envy theese ones!! Tom
  15. Well done Tom! Just love that cicken pen. Now I know just what I can use all them chickn bones I have saved in my leather hardware box. Tom
  16. A great one! You've done it again! Very nice shape to it and like the others say, very cool dragons. Since they're on the tank just means you had alot more pressure on you to get them right and I think those might be hotter than the ones on the tank. Tom
  17. Absolutely stunning and what a beautiful bird too. The braiding top piece is to die for. Tom
  18. Hey Bob! Here's a flask sheath I made. Maybe not what your'e looking but maybe it can spawn some ideas. Link to original post: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?s...pic=122&hl= Tom
  19. Oh Glenmorangie is one of my favourites since they are very pricey and they ARE really nice tasting, no compromise there. The new lineup they have looks to be great. Check out their new site aswell. Man you're gonna get dizzy!!! I brought home a bottle of Briuchladdich's Redder still wich was about 270$ but that will be an investment once they are sold out. Tom
  20. So nice and pleasing but man you must be tired of pistons... Tom
  21. Veery nice, love the metal sheet inlay and nice to see another member to the skullcrew here. Tom
  22. Welcome goingtobe guy;-! You've find the right place and you don't need to post in the right corresponding threads. Most people use the show off thread then there's some mystical allseeing power here that moves it to the right thread after some time. Tom
  23. Kewl, it'll be great. Thanksalot! Tom
  24. Hey, you stole my idea!! Naah, just kidding but I did think about this a when I was in Scotland the other week and visited some eight distilleries and got to drink from their most precious casks. One was from 1966 and their oldest one so I took some pics and thought about a miniature leather replica. I'm a Scotch whisky fanatic! I will be following your work on this one with excitement. Will you be trying to make it oval with some wetmolding too, think that's a tricky one but I'm trying to figure out a good method for doing this. Just got so much other work to complete before any attempts. Tom
