  1. Would you think about modifying your pattern some and send me a copy since I do not draw well? I would love to have a copy of it! If not I understand. What I was thinking was turning the very top part of the wing into an American Flag. Just a thought. I thought that would look really cool.
  2. Nice! the things kids will say! LOL My oldest was the same way till she made her own belt. When her friends asked where she BOUGHT it? and she said she made it no one believed her.....
  3. The scroll work in the insides of belts is something you will find that a lot of the Master Leather Artist do as a finishing touch to their belts.
  4. Very interesting patterns What stamps are you using on it?
  5. Interesting, does look like a "b & a"
  6. I have it also, Avoided surgery so far doing the same things as David. The exercises and the Braces at night, or driving long distances, playing on the computer too much...... I started trying to remember to wear them when I am tooling. I think they have helped my tooling some when I wear them because it keeps my wrist in a consistent position. And my elbow off the table. I have not found a way to carve with my swivel knife with them on yet. My braces came from the surgeon also. He did not like the OTC ones either. I was not ready for the % of loss of use that comes with getting the surgery done.
  7. can one of you post a pic of what it would look like if you took the one Shirley posted and brought the line straight down like it was a spine of her back? Wondering what that would look like? that way it might still look like more of a B than no line there
  8. My best guess is when some stranger sees something you have made and wants to buy it and is serious about it.
  9. Yes, I got my questions answered on this forum. It was more the things I didn't know that were some of those things you learn on your own unless you take a class or have someone show you step by step. Well it is a good thing to know that if these were the most difficult the others should be a breeze. As to wearing them..... no problem very easy to wear and putting them on is no issue either. Anne
  10. thanks for sharing! another thing to add to the list to try to make!
  11. You might find several SASS members at this site also. http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php/board,57.0.html
  12. Defiantly Jeff Mosby at Grey Ghost graphics. He did mine and I love it. Mine as you can see to the left is just my last name initial within a design.
  13. Everything was sewn by hand! A lot of time spent sewing up and down every flame on them. And the zippers too! took each of them out at least twice. I have been here since November at Artisan. We have been so busy and the machine go out the door so fast that they haven't really had the time to set one up for me to use after hours. Hopefully on my next two pairs I can use a machine.
  14. So Marlon are you sharing your tools or is she hooked enough that you have had to buy her her very own tools yet? Was this her first piece?
  15. Nice job Marlon, Your wife's version? Did she take the class also?
  16. Wow Art you have been busy! I took that same notebook class with Chan a couple yrs ago. A lot of fun. Great job

  20. Here is my first pair of Chaps. What a learning experience! I eneded up having to hand sew them. I think I tore the zipper out at least 3 times.
  21. Such a great tutorials that I added it to my list of things to try to make while you were still in the process of posting it. Now that it is done it has quickly moved up my list to be something to do sooner. That is right after all my show and fair projects already in the process. Thanks again for sharing.
