  1. I had the pleasure of meeting Dagr and his lovely wife last night and got to see his leather craft in person. Pictures never do them justice. They were all so much nicer than what they appear to be in pictures. time flew by as we visited about leather...... It is very cool to meet others from Leather related boards and list to put faces to names. Anne
  2. Very cool Tom! Nice Job John. My makers stamp was done by Jeff Mosby My overall idea came from a musical instruments company logo and Jeff changed it some. Jeff has had his website redone and it just might have some gliches in it still. you might try reaching him by phone. I know he will be at the Sheridan trade show.

  7. We will have to get together soon. It would be nice to meet some other leather crafter here in the Valley. In September our guild will have a display at the West Branch Library you should let us display some of your work too.

  10. Dagr, Well we all have our ways to meeting the opposite sex..... LOL Besides leather work I do a bit of Scroll saw work and have played with chip carving, wood spirits carving, wood turning, architectural wood carving and chain saw carving and a furniture building class. Great way to hang out with guys!

    Dragon scales

    Very interesting Clay. I had bought Bob Beards scale tools because I like the way they actually undercut the leather at the tips of the scales. but your ideas are very cool.
  14. Very very nice Tom! the handle looks like the braid that I learned from Rene Berends of Germany. I have some bracelets and hair barrette done that way. You should do a tutorial on how you did the tube! I would like to do one to carry my large patterns in when I work on large projects away from home.

  17. I had been thinking about making some thing similar..... I had thought about using the cardboard cup holder that 7-11 has for the coffee cups as a pattern for making a tooled leather ones..... I have some patterns drawn out just have been too busy with other projects to do this right now. Love what you made for that cup.
  18. Tell Riley nice job, you must be a very proud parent! Don't feel bad I have to miss Sheridan too! but I have only been to the past 2 and love going to the shows.
