  1. Hey Luke, I think I have that stamp too. I thought it was pretty plain too. It leaves very short cut edges. Kinda 2D. lol Nice work there dude.
  2. Kevin this is a nice one too. I love the liners you use. Great touch. Not sure if I asked b4 but what sewing machine do you use?
  3. Hey Beeza, This is a bitch'n seat. Like alot of us here I really dig the colors. I do hate when you have to black out some great work. This is a great alternative to that. Thank you for sharing.
  4. Kevin this is bad ass. I love the look of it. Wow, I wonder how much these things are that even YOU can't afford them. Maybe you can arrange some kinda trade. I do that sometimes.

Welcome John, I am glad to hear you took it up again. You have some nice pieces there. I particularly like the sheath. Good looking stuff.
  6. Welcome to you and your wife's work. I like the pillow on the left. I see much potential in something like that. Very nice work. YAY FOR YOUR WIFE PILLOW.

Yo SYD!!! Welcome. You are in for a great ride with leather. I have had a blast learning this art. Even when I f'up I learn a great new things from it. I have made a few things for my bike and for a friend as well. Good luck and happy tooling.
  8. Hey, A cover for a 3 ring binder is a great idea. That does look like a fun project. Good job.
  9. Yeah, that is one lucky dog to have a custom built bike and a bitch'n seat to rest his glut's on...lol
  10. I actually have a can of that at home I was gonna paint my bike with. LOL Kinda permanent though so I changed my mind. My bike has had 3 different themes since I got her.
  11. Yeah, a few rattle cans of flat black will put all these Frankensteined pieces together.

    Leather Skulls

I would do that....LOL. "What do you think these coasters are??? Coasters or something?
  13. F' Yeah!!! This is a bitch'n piece. Very nice. Outside kicks ass and then you open it and....KAPAYAAAAA!!!! Nice...
  14. Yeah I have to say that i was totally impressed when I saw that seat the first time. Now, I'm totally diggin it. The bike looks bad ass. Those Apes might be a bit extreme but I like the look. I have 16"'s with 2" risers on mine but I don't have the rake like he does. Nor the lift of the front end. I have to say that I will never go back to regular bars if I don't have to.

    Leather Skulls

These are 1/8" thick. The one on my bike was about 3/16" thick and double layered (3/8" thick or so).
  16. I'd say, "F" it. Try it. Why not.

    Leather Skulls

These are my latest project. I have like 40 made about now and they all have a different design to them. I started with Day of the Dead as a theme but have gone to cyclops to viking to .....other ideas that popped in my head and I just drew it and tooled it. So now you see how I have around 40 going on now. The dyed one is the color they will all be. I love that antique brown. They all share the same outter shape so they can nest together. I was thinking of offering them as coasters also but want to protect them from moisture. Please let me know what you think. I will have pictures of each of them when I am finished with them. I only have 20 more to go....I'm sure I have more than that in ideas in my head. I will sell these and a few more items at a craft fair or one of the motorcycle swapmeets.
  18. Well, I have had the same situation with my pieces. I am currently making some skulls out of leather with sort-of a Day of the Dead theme and I was wondering how much to charge. I am just gonna figure $15 per because the piece of leather I use is less than 20 bucks. It takes me about 1 hour to do each. The dye is not alot for each of them. Most of it is my labor...like everything else. I will post some of them as their own topic in a bit.
  19. Yeah that is a beautiful bike. If you ever have a chance to talk to Paul Cox he is a friendly dude. He does all the leather for Indian Larry Legacy bikes and for Indian Larry before he passed away. He shared some cool info with me about leather(ing?) lol. I thought about doing the whole wrap thing but decide I like my paint and just wanted accents.
  20. I modified my baby quite a bit. This is my 06 Honda Shadow..."The Beast" Here is her new outfit I had posted b4 the site crash.
  21. Wow these look great. I am glad you shared. Good inspiration.

    cold afternoon

Hey Russell, this is pretty cool. What are you doing with it? Or is it a practice piece. either way it looks good.
  23. 1. Frost 2. Arctic Medow 3. Aqua or... 4. Dude with a beard with a mask on....lol jk
  24. I love the look of the bag. Very nice and looks like it fits much stuff. On my bike the tool bag attaches to the handlebar risers with a strap. 4 slits on the back of the bag allow the strap to first feed from the inside out. Around the first riser. Back into the second slit. Across the middle through the inside. back out, around the second riser and back in from the 4th slit. Then both ends buckle and strap meet and buckle like a belt from the inside. Shoot, I hope this helps cause I was picturing it as I typed it....lol 0 0 0 0 1 2 3 4
