This is a great paintjob to compliment your leather. I envy people who can do great paint like this. -
Hi Sylve, Not to worry. I have found that many people in this forum are patient with my ghetto slang too. This is a pimp place to get the 411 on fleshworkin. Welcome.
-
Yup, got the look from my wife. But as Drac said it...I'm a pig and she knows it...
-
That's it, I'm going back in.....LOL....maybe... Thank you Scouter. I like the way it's coming out. I think the pic is still a bit more brown cause it's all still kinda wet. Not sure what kinda color I will use on it. Maybe just neatsfoot oil.
-
Not that I was thinking of Drac but his post did it....well, you know what I mean. Anyway, this is a pic I found online a while back and thought I would try my figure carving on it. I think it's coming out pretty good so far. Not sure what i will do with it but i wanted to have it for my portfolio. It's on a 8 1/2 x 11 size or so.

Thanks Mike. Can I just say wow on the spurs too?

Today's Belt & Strap Production
Spider replied to rdb's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
I will keep an eye on your topic here cause I am planning to do some Motorcycle swapmeets soon and craft fai....I mean, street fairs... -
That's awesome. I have an Alaskan bag like this too and it has no liner either. It's one of my favorite bags.
-
Kagekeeper, Not much patience needed as you might think. Just give it a shot and you'll see how simple it is. That Peg leg is one of the best uses for it that I've seen. I'm still laughing.
-
Yeah, pretty much... No, actually I'm making these for my jeans cause they rise and show my pretty stripped sox and then I don't look as cool as I'd like to. I can make these out of scrap pieces I have...if there is ever such a thing. 1x5 with 1" folded over on each end and leaving 3 inches in the middle for a cool pic or initials.

Thank you for the comments. Hidemechanic: It could be a dead borg I guess. 31!!! WHAT, like degrees? lol I'm in L.A., CA. so I don't even think my freezer gets that cold....let alone ride in it...lol You are a true diehard my friend. Roo: Yeah, I love different. Against the grain seems more fun for me. Not that I don't appreciate the "normal" stuff.

Yup, at this point we can not say anything that Drac did not already say. Wear it well.
