We have a Coleman Twin Tube florecent lamp that I got at Wal-Mart during an Ice Storm. This put out a lot of light. We put it up high on a shelf in front of a mirror and it really lit up the room. As far as the bugs, during the fair when we have the windows open all the time on the ticket booth for selling tickets, we spray the outside down with Ortho Max and don't have a bug problem. I am guessing it would work if you sprayed the outside & celing of your tent, around your tables etc (before putting anything out of course) and spray the lantern too would probably help. Good Luck - Deb

Hi UKRay - We purchased a used wood pellet stove for my husband's 30 x 30 shop that he uses in the winter. He is not finished insulating yet but it kept it pretty comfortable. I don't know if those are available in the UK or not. - Deb

I have a couple of belts to do also that want staniless steel wire. I was getting ready to order form from Weavers, but might be interested in the bezel wire. I am not familiar with that. Where do you get yours? Thanks Deb

Your border tooling is very nice and even - I also like the rich color of your antiquing. You are your own worst critic - You will see all the imprefections no one else does - Nice Job - Deb

Hi Az. Your belt is coming along! I like your fish. I agree with your wife. I also think it needs something between the fish. I like your Rock and Bubbles - they are a good idea. A couple of other ideas - Shells, wavy grass or choral. Thefigure carving bush tools might make good choral. Just a thought. - Deb

I was one of the 17 members in this class. I learned a lot!! It was fun to see everyones finished product. They all looked like John Wayne, but no two were the same. Vicki arranged for a gentleman from Louisiana who was taking the class and has a professional frame shop, bring along his matting equipment. He cut double mats for all of us to go along with our picture. (Mine was too damp to put the sealer on, I fill finish it this next weekend and try to get it posted.) If you ever get a chance to take one of Jim's classes you will really enjoy it and learn alot. I kind of like the challenge idea, but maybe monthly is too short of time on some projects. Many of us work full time jobs, run businesses, have kids with activities etc in addition to any Custom leather orders (so we can support our habit......) how about a quarterly challenge? Thanks - Deb

Joe - The article I was thinking of is Jan/Feb 2006 Leather Crafter & Saddler's Journal "Customizing a Pickup Headrest" If you are interested, PM Me with your address and I will send you a copy of the article. Deb

Joe, I know one of the Leather Crafter and Saddlers journal had an article about tooling on the back of the seat of a truck. I don't remember what issue it was in but it was a probably 3 years ago that I saw it. It may have some information on the weight of the leather you need. I will see If I can find that issue in my back issue collection. - Deb
