  1. Harvey, if you just want the spot try using a bottle dropper and put a drop of dye on the leather and then use a straw and blow on it. That should give you the spat pattern. If you want to carve it- try the same with some water, or maybe some neatsfoot oil (if discoloration isnt' a concern) and then just swivel cut around whatever splat occurs. Crystal

Beautiful, Bobby! The only question I have is: Aren't tapadero's usually used in pairs? Coffee table on each end of a couch... night stand on each side of a bed... Another inspiring piece. Thanks for sharing it! Crystal

  8. I so enjoy it when you get frozen in for the winter, Clay. Love to see what you end up working on. The mountian lion is looking great and I really like how the grass is coming along. Kate's got all the popcorn, so I will have to just sip my coffee and wait to see what comes next. Crystal

  13. Hi Michi- http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?app=calendar&module=calendar&cal_id=3&do=showevent&event_id=186 That is the date listing for the Rocky Mountian Leather Trade show in Sheridan, Wyoming. I believe there is one before that in Wickenberg, Arizonia sometime in February. I am sure someone will chime in here and give you some more information on upcoming events occuring in the US. Crystal
  14. Beautiful, David! Are all 6 seats going to be different designs? If so, I'd be wanting 6 bikes just to have all in the series. Gorgeous work as always. Crystal

    8" Photo Album

It feels like this piece was done a million years ago. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I am keeping a journal of the pieces I have done and this was my 6th piece. One of these days I am going to give it a try again and see how it comes out this time around. I hope there is improvement!
  22. All are looking wonderful, Mark! There are going to be some happy folks when they get these. What color thread are you using, I can't see it at all. Crystal
