Now, you will be building these all spring & summer long for your friends, watch. Keep up the good work and soon we will be having you do a class on airbrushing, so keep practicing!! Can anyone shed some light on what is a "Prickling Iron", I spelled it correctly? I saw one in a photograph where the crafts person appeared to look like it was being used to saddle stitch. I was flat, and the teeth were very small and spread evenly across. There were about 20 teeth tapering to a thin shaft. Are these tools still available? Where can you get them? I appreciate it. I've been working on my dyes and finishes with these two recent projects. The Koozie was done with Neat Foot oil, three coats of Super Shene and then Saddle Tan Antique Gel. I am really proud of the portfolio because it belongs to me and I plan to market my work with it. Plus, I was worried that I was going to screw it up. This was my first time working with such a large pattern. The finish on the portfolio project was also an experiment, I started with a coat of oil, then a good round of Neatlac (that I stole from a friend), medium brown antique gel and followed up with super shene. Here are the pictures, don't mind the date, I have battery problems with the camera. It keeps dying and I have to constantly change the date, so I gave up a long time ago. Tell me what you guys think. After all, the receipes came from this forum, well kinda. Greetings and good evening from Round Rock, Texas ~ Remember: Stop & Strop! ~

Man, that 'Neatlac' does the trick. I heard that Tandy will not be selling it anymore. What will we do. I appreciate the response. Greetings from Round Rock, Texas ~Remember: Stop & Strop!~ -
My friend has this in his leaving room. You think he would mind if I just cut one antler off for a tool handle or burnishing stick? Greetings from Round Rock, Texas ~Remember: Stop & Strop!~

I new that it would something as simple as you mentioned it. I think these picture depict the beauty of natural leather with the contrast of the tooling part. My .02 cents. Thanks for the help, I will it a shot and report back. Greetings from Round Rock, Texas ~Remember: Stop & Strop!~ -
Welcome to the forum! I don't know exactly where you are located, but I know there is a New Tandy store going up somewhere in Tucson. A friend of mine just got assigned there and is working to get it built up inside to open it. If you are near and get a chance, stop by and say hi to Crystal! She'll take of you as almost ALL Tandy manager's will. Greetings from Round Rock, Texas ~

I saved the pictures for later project design ideas. When I went back, I couldn't find the link or site. I remember something usual in the title bar (top left corner), question marks. Normally, you would see the name of the site or something similiar, but not here. Oh well, I thought with all of the masters here, someone would be able to chime it. I appreciate your response. I found another stitching pony on the internet in my quest to find the appropriate design. I thought that operating principles were very simple here. Greetings from Round Rock, Texas ~Remember to Stop & Strop~
