  1. Welcome to the forum. Don't forget to post pictures of your work.
  2. click on my name and on the leftside will be a couple of options.
  3. I may have a couple in my collection. Let me take a look. Send me your email address through a personal message. We'll go from there.
  4. Beautiful as usual Boma.........really Raw!
  5. The dots are probably done with a tool commonly referred to a "seeder."
  6. I would suggest two options. You can contact Left's leathercraft tools in Japan via Google. Or you can contact Simon at www.goodsjapan.jp. Simon does not usually carry this specific tool in his inventory, but he is in Japan and can get it for you. Good luck
  7. I have one in my collection though I have not been able to identify the maker either. It has very smooth action.
  8. From the Kyoshin Elle '2009' catalog. I believe if my eyes are correct? The stamp you are looking for is O007.
  9. Is it the same maker at Kyoshee Elle in Japan? If so, I might be able to hook you up with someone in Japan if the tool is still in production. Just another option for you to consider.
  10. Don't forget to post pictures! Good luck mate!
  11. What a beautiful gift! Oh yea, great work....Keep it up.
  12. Boma....great work as usual! You are collecting quite a collection of projects......when do we see pattern packs so we can try it out in the states?
  13. I would try the ads at the very top. He is a sponsor on this site. If not...here you go! Barry King Tools 1751 Terra Avenue Sheridan, WY 82801 Business 307.672.5657 Fax 307.673.8588 Email: kingtool@fiberpipe.net
  14. Just a suggestion, but are you gluing the edges? If so, did you use a roller or flat burnisher to make sure there was good contact? Another thing.....could you be attempting to stitch a bit too close to the edge?
  15. When you contact Barry King....ask them for the Sheridan Tooling Starter set. They had them at the last show I went to.
  16. They are......I play with Douglas' tools at his table every year! And, maybe the term 'middle of road' was probably not a good choice on my part. I own the whole set of BK edgers and I agree with you that they are good and have worked well for me. Plus, they are affordable even for the hobbyist. I certainly cannot justify the expense for Douglas tools. People that make money off their leather works may be able to pull it off, but that is not me.
  17. Dan....I use emery sanding sticks for small jobs. They come in coarse, medium and fine grit sticks.
  18. Welcome to the forum. So it has taken this long to welcome you....I didn't know I missed so many new posts. Don't forget to post pictures.
