  1. Knipper I will miss stopping by your booth to welcome you to the show, but I believe your products will speak for themselves. Hopefully, you will bring enough trim & gauge knives this time so you do not sellout your first day! Break a leg! Hopefully, I will see you and your lovely wife in Texas later this year!
  2. May I suggest that you use the 'search' button (top right hand corner) for all of the information you need. I am sure that many of us have killed this topic more than twice. Good luck
  3. Google ~ Joseph Dixon in the UK or check out www.goodsjapan.jp I recently heard that Steven Siegal was selling a set for $150.00. He is apparently in North or South Carolina? Good luck
  4. Great job...........I won! I hand stitch all of my work, but you have some great lines going on that bag with that machine.

    Press

Habor Freight....they are online. There is also one on eBay that was just listed. good luck
  6. Bill Sorry, I do not have any knowledge base for this type of work. Good luck on the patch machine.....I haven't seen them for sale too often.
  7. Beautiful. Machine or hand stitched? I have a bet going here.
  8. Very cool....I have someone locally that has done some laser work for me in the past. Brings a whole new meaning to leather craft!
  9. Winterbear Well, it official....no problems with the optical/laser mouse. I put it through the paces today. Now, time to mail it out. Thanks for commenting.
  10. Tell us after you take them for a ride.
  11. You have to be comfortable in your work space. Very nice.
  12. I agree with Randypants.....it is a natural finish. But, just FYI Clear Lac or Neat Lac will give you the same results without an antique paste.
  13. Welcome to the forum!
  14. Yes, his books have some great ideas. No, this one came from an article he wrote for the Leather Craft & Saddler's Journal many years ago. Thank you! It is smooth veg-tan leather so an optical should work, but I will let you known when I hear from the new owner. Thanks This particular lesson came from an article Mr. Paul published many years ago for the Leather Craft & Saddler's Journal. I am sure that his books will give you a great base to start from. The article that I took from this was for something else. It took a bit to figure out with measurements for such a small piece of leather. I will have more step by step pictures on my leather working blog. Thank you all for the comments.
  15. Here is a project that I worked on this evening. I used about 6 tools and a swivel knife. I will oil it up tonight, apply clear lac and glue a piece of suede for the bottom. I will sew it up after using a 5 cord white cotton thread. Side Note: Thanks for Mr. Paul Burnett for the lesson.
  16. To move the 'thread' back to the front of line.....especially when it has an old date.
  17. Thanks Mr. Bruce.....I have a project coming up in March and I saw some nice dyed leather that had listed on their internet site. Just wondering!
  18. What did you buy? Just asking....
  19. I just used Barge to glue my leather to the pony & horse. Good luck.

    Mask Pattern

Nah.....we had to cancel it. But I would appreciate the pattern for later on this year? No worries, we have plenty of project requests thorough the year. Thanks for your consideration though!
