  1. Looks really good. I really like the color of the leather. Question: What if 2-3 cards are removed? Will the wallet flap open and the dump the rest of the cards? just asking!
  2. Dude.....that is gorgeous! Man, I can see why you held on to it all this time. Wow!
  3. Spinner The pixs are a bit smaller, but that wood looks beautiful!

  7. Yes, in simple terms. Here is the website. It states that it is internationally known and serves customers worldwide. I am sure if you contact them they can direct you to someone locally. Just ask them about a Neat-lac replacement product. Good luck
  8. check out 'Dick Sherer' on eBay. He is a friend of mine on Facebook and we have talked about this very thing in person. He did explain to me that he had some articles coming out in Leather Crafters and Saddlers Journals about some topics on vending strategies? But don't hold me to this. He does have some very useful CD's on eBay on varies items that can sure sell in any vending or farmer's market type settings. Check them out....I own most of them and found them full of helpful information. Good luck.
  9. Very good for you and I wish you much success! Those tools look great!
  10. the Duke Simon from Goods Japan is a member on here. Check out his site at www.goodsjapan.jp I buy from Simon regularly and have two sets of these tools. One set, I use for lacing and another for sewing and keep them in a sewing bag that travels with me when I have attend events or practices for my kids. I do have to caution you that the sizes are listed as MM, so be careful. Good luck.
  11. Phil.........Welcome to the forum and greetings from the USA!
  12. You did a bang up job for your 'first' project. Congrats!
  13. Dude.....I kinda have the opposite issue. I use my SK-3 blades all of the time. My cobalt blade and my Barry King blades are sharper than my ceramics and other misc blades. I cannot tell you what it is. I will offer you an opportunity to ship them to me and I can work on them to see if I can get them a bit better for you? No problem. I do not like to see or hear about blade frustrations. Just drop me a line!
  14. Yes, friction holds it in place. I use some other stuff and glue it to my leather.
  15. Ditto......beautiful work
  16. Look up some of our New York members on here and send them a message. You can also view on line catalogs from some of our supplier sponsors on here for supplies. I am sure that there is a Tandy Leather Factory store in NY somewhere that you can visit to touch stuff.
  17. Lutz: I would look up some of our members in Germany or surrounding countries that might be able to help you find a retailer. Good luck.
  18. Good for you Spinner! Congrats on your class.....much success. @Hosscomp ~ I would recommend that you go by your local leather retailer like Tandy LF and ask them to give you a quick tutorial on the dyes. They should all have samples of how it works on hand. Some TLF's have classes on dye on a month basis like our Tandy store in Austin. Good luck
  19. Try Uptmors Saddlery in Waco or Clay Miller (Temple/Belton) on here for help. Good luck
