I've never had the prongs go flat. I think its a case of bending them up again using needle-nose pliers

You don't have to dye before using Antiquing. I often apply it without dyeing -

I find back-stitching is enuf but for extra security I sometimes use a dab of UHU glue on the last back-stitch. UHU is a European tubed contact adhesive -
Deviation; a total ban of sending bladed articles though the UK post comes into affect soon. We might have to get independent couriers to carry them at their high rates of carriage https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Seller-Central/Royal-Mail-to-ban-shipping-of-ALL-bladed-items-from-22nd-April/td-p/7572763#:~:text=IMPORTANT NOTICE%3A From 22 April, from the Royal Mail network.

Not a proper report 8 pieces have been hanging outside. It been raining a lot here, including today All the pieces except vaseline show darkening caused by them soaking up water. The vaseline one is still as light coloured as a non-treated piece. It also show a little of repelling water. Its lost its slickness which it had before. Other pieces also show water repelling but they are showing as having absorbed water, not a little but a lot, as much as you'd want for wet moulding Therefore, it looks like vaseline can be water repellent or a mild waterproofer. I'd not dare venture to say it is a waterproofer

On March 19th I suddenly went into hospital with a bad case of Shingles. 14 days of strong antibiotics given IV I only got out and home on April 5th at 17.00 I had no phone or computer connection During all the checks made on me it was discovered I have a problem with my eyes and I need to get some ops on them I started laser treatment on Tuesday I also have to get injections into the eyes All this may take 2 years to put my eyes right Thank goodness for our National Health Service (NHS) as the injections alone cost £1800 each and I need several Some leatherwork is restricted for me foreseeable future but I'm getting my supplies tidied and sorted

A sadist meets a masochist at a club 'Lets go back to my place - I have many different types of whips' says the sadist When they get there the masochist says 'Tie me up, shackle me' The sadist does then the masochist says 'Whip me! whip me hard' and the sadist . . . . . . says 'No'

Finished this today; a dice cup for no.1 dottir. For her D&D gaming. 1. it had to be small cos it has to fit inside her choccy Easter egg and 2. it had to be finished this week as she is flying over at the weekend I've been making the choccy Easter eggs for xxx years. No.1 son always says he doesn't want one then he asks "Where's mine?" I always put a wee gift inside so this year I thought I'd do No.1 dottir a dice cup and some dice. Next is to make the eggs 8cm tall x 5cm diameter

Those are what we are trying to replace. You need to pull the shaft with the knurled grip then insert or remove the pin. Not too easy whilst trying to hold several pieces of leather aligned I bought 5mm* ear studs. They came with backs but I found them too small and fiddly so I bought 11mm backs In a few weeks time I'm going to have the ladies of my Knit & Natter group make key chain coin purses. I've cut and punched the parts. I'll have the ladies use 3 ear studs to hold the parts together whilst they sew them * I would get larger next time 80 ear studs =£4.98 100 x 11mm backs = £3.99

Yes, its a 'toothless' rule but it hinders the nefarious seller. If they think that the buyer can claim back the payment. Ultimately its up to the buyer and seller to agree on how payment is made But I did say it was 'recommended'
