  1. Yep Walk on the feet height is out of sync. glenn
  2. The Hirose number hook number is HSH-12-15, HSH-12-15(A). Hirose and Cerliani make great aftermarket hooks and bobbin cases. You could try one from a 111w155 glenn
  3. The gears and racks look good with very little wear on them. I would take out all the gears and racks from the horn and degrease and remove all the old oil and grease from those parts. I would also wire wheel all the parts so they look new. I do all the parts when I rebuild one. She is pretty dirty. Clean everything really well before you reassemble and try to get it to sew. Gears and racks look like those out of a 29K58. New style. Get me any parts numbers off the parts that you can. Can I see a pic of the balance wheel and the treadle stand if it has one. Thank you. glenn miller You got the old parts that were in it. If so, can I see pics of them?
  4. Should use same hook and bobbin case as a 112W116. glenn
  5. #138 thread and #23/160 needle, not #22/140 Needle system is 134-35. glenn

  8. I have 5 Durkopp 17 and 1 18 to restore. Use lots of penetrating oil on it. May want to put it into an electrolysis tank to de-rust it and get parts loose. Constabulary uses the electrolysis tanks a lot with great results. Looks mostly all there. Is there a hook and bobbin in it? Great project to pursue. I have manuals on it. glenn
  9. The 29K57 is a rare one. It came out after the 29K51-56 series and before the 29K58,60,62 series. I have one. Certain parts will be almost unobtainable. If your hook is a generic one, it may be a few thousands too big or small over an original one. You got any manuals on that particular model? I would be very interested in getting copies if you have them. I have original Simanco hooks if you need one. glenn
  10. No the first pic is 4 motion drop feed. In skiff feed, the feed dog goes back and forth but does not drop. glenn
  11. Constabulary on this site rebuilt one years ago and there is a post about it. Also, there is one I think on Utube as to how to sew on it. In my opinion and I rebuild shoepatchers, that one needs some serious cleaning before I would attempt to sew and time it. It needs cleaning in the head and thread path. Too much grease build up and old oil on it. I think I have a manual on it. On a good note, You have the slide on table and drawer which are rare to find these days. glenn
  12. Need a pic or to of the machine please
  13. It has skiff feed instead of 4 motion drop feed. H4 high lift and possibly a 10 mm max. stitch length stitch length which were special order and rare. It should still sew and feed well. If it does indeed have a 10mm max. stitch length, buy it and buy it NOW! glenn
  14. I think it is a 29K58. Nope it is a 29K70. I can see the tag. Plus it has the older take up lever adjustment. glenn
  15. The best machine out there is a Claes. These are very expensive new. Used ones are available but they start about $3,500.00 just so you know. I would try to buy one of them. glenn
