  1. They vary from hook mfg. to hook mfg. The finger on my Juki 1508 is .134" width. that is a genuine Juki hook. I think the hooks were the same on both the 1508 and 563. The use the same bobbin. I usually round the edges of the finger slot on the underside of the throat plate and buff it so the thread will go in and around it without any hinderance. glenn
  2. 145 class single needle flatbed walking foot unison feed VR ? not seen before 56 ? B class L for sewing leather does this machine have any trimming knives on it? Send pics of the head
  3. servo motor time!! glenn
  4. You take the feet, feed dog and throat plate off the machine so only the needle and the hook are left. This allows you to time the hook to the needle by hand. The hook should be very close to the needle without touching it. I believe you go to bottom dead center with the needle and then up 3/32" and needle should be timed at that point. Distance of hook point from needle should be about the width of a paper business card. Keep in mind the needle deflector will push needle from left to right before hook arrives. I also tell people to deepen the slot on the underside of the throat plate a few thousands so that #138 thread can pass freely over the bobbin case finger. Buffing the slot will also let thread pass more easily in the slot. glenn
  5. Deed you find a parts book for the machines. That will help

  10. Good news. The 200-2 RPX uses same hook, bobbin as the 8346/20 machine of today. I think the shuttle carrier and drive gear are the same as well. . Why make when you can buy new ones. Contact Claes in Germany. I think you can buy form them direct being you are in Poland. glenn
  11. problem with the 29K71? glenn
  12. I have solved the problem of the 669 using a bigger needle. It takes an enlarging of the needle slot in the bobbin basket. I can use #160 and #180 needles without any problems now one I put a bubble on the right side of the needle slot with a Dremel, carbide bit and Flat Mitchell carbide cord. glenn
  13. The slot in the bobbin basket is too narrow to accept bigger needles above a #150. That is why the thread is fraying because the needle is getting caught in the slot. You have the parts list for the 669? If not, go to Durkopp Adler website and then to products. Go under 669Eco and down load the operations manual, parts list and mechanics manual. Page number 12 of parts list shows the breakdown of the hook. The bobbin basket is part #0367156020. That has the slot in it that the needle goes into when it descends to do a stitch. I put a bubble on the right side of the slot so it will accommodate a #160 and #180 needle. Right side because that is the side that the thread come out of the eye of the needle for the hook to pic up. I used a Dremel with a carbide bit and polished it out with flat carbide Mitchell cord. Why the Eco can only use up tp a #150 needle (which they really no longer make) and the 669 Silverline model with toys can use up to #180 is beyond me. Durkopp Adler is aware of the problem because I talked to Ed Atkinson, the head of Durkopp Adler America in Georgia 2 weeks ago. I know they used the same hook from the 367-373 flatbed on the 669 Eco. The 367 had the same problem with larger needles. Send me your phone number and a good time to call. glenn
  14. Hold both threads in one hand when you start sewing. Keeps it from tangling. glenn

  16. looks nice glenn
  17. ok I have a 669eco. The 669 is the best machine in its class in the world. Only Seiko makes a copy of it and it is not as good for about the same price. i can tell you who has the best price on it. You can add a air foot lift to the 669 eco. I have done it and I can walk you thru setting it up. You can use a speed reducer on a 669 eco with a servo motor but cannot add needle positioner because the speed reducer screws with the needle positioner sensors. You can add LED lights to it. I have 2 different lights on the machine. You can sewing bindings with the machine but that means new feet, throat plate and feed dog plus the binder. You can make it a symmetrical feed binder. contact me. glenn
  18. Make sure you under cut the back of the right throat plate over the hook or will not be enough clearance for the thread to pass over the hook. Ifyou can make plates, there are guys looking for them for the 67. glenn
  19. pic please. glenn
  20. You have to grind the sides of the spring down so they do not stick out past the outside diameter of the needle bar. I assume that is what you mean by a lot of sanding. Also file down the grove in the needle bar cut out if here is a thread grove worn in it. glenn
  21. Go to Kwok Hing in Hong Kong. Good feet prices. Hooks check Cerliani and Hirose. Great aftermarket hooks. Adler # is 068-00-181-4. Hirose # is HAD-68. That Hirose hook is on eBay right now for$99.99. Grab it at that price. I have used them for years. Made in Japan. Ceriiani hooks made in Italy. Aftermarket feet are cheap for the 67 Adler. Remember, this is the small bobbin model. The 167 is the big bobbin model. Aftermarket slide plates are out there as well. glenn
