Friend asked for a simple guitar strap with no adjustments for his les Paul. No adjustments?? Sure I can do it. Reckon that guarantees no one will “borrow” his strap. Before the holes were punched. 7/8 oz Wickett craig lined with 4/5 Wickett craig split sewn with cb3200. Just nfo and tan coat for finish.

I spray resolene on everything that leaves. Dilute it 50/50 with water and do a light spray. Wait till it dries and do another light spray. And if I know it’s gonna be subjected to water like a rifle sling I will spray it 3 times. Light coats are always better than 1 heavy coat. That’s just me and by no means a professional but that seems to work so far.

Honestly I’ve gotten some pretty heavy duty Velcro from eeebay. Fairly cheap

Never realized it was in that nice of condition. I’ve looked the web over for those small rivets that were used back then and can not find them anywhere. -

That looks sharp! I have one of these with original sheath. My wife’s memaw give it to me. Just a tad of surface rust but I’m scared to do much with it. Are you going for period correct or just making a sheath. The sheath that came with the knife back then was left handed. These things will take a beating as the metal is stout! -
Is a v belt? Just a whim here but you can take a string and route it through the path. Pull it snug and mark where the string overlaps each other. Then measure from mark to mark. Measure width of pulleys. (How wide between shoulders). check local parts houses. The ones here can cross reference belt lengths to match with what will work. Sorry. Omit all that crap. Just read up on that machine. Timing belt is a 58 teeth belt. Found this. Don’t know if it’s helpful but there’s a part number for the belt. Hope it helps. http://www.brunoanichini.it/cataloghi/durkopp/044.pdf

Black Rose SAA holster

It’s a classic no doubt! I’ll eventually build up the courage to do it justice with a full rough out belt as well -

That’s a nice looking rig! -
Thanks for the opinions. Maybe a pouch that the belt can go through. Or for those suckers that long maybe a welding rod pouch with a clip. @JLSleather he’s prolly just making sure he got nuff ammo for these skeeters! I’ll keep my eye on the mail. Thanks a million! Haven’t sent your box yet. Maybe next week. @byggyns they are smg mags. I’ll check into their apparatus. Thanks again folks.

Thu will be on a belt. Sorry I forgot to mention that. Used for hunting and plinking.

Had a request to make a double mag holster. Fair enuff. No big deal. BUT.. they are 31 round mags. Question is, which way should I approach this? The guy ain’t picky and said whatever I come up with will work. So I have a few options. These mags are over 8” long.

Only way I know is to make a u tube vid and post link.

Man Im filled with jealously!! That’s a good find!

Didn’t offend me. I was just merely asking what kind of retention you’d have with the holster since the stitch lines were so far away. Nothing I said was to “offend”. Seems there’s nothing anyone can say anymore without someone getting offended. And I’ll agree with ya. There’s been some silly comments on this thread...

No problem. Hope this helps!
