Two Ruger Single Six Holsters
d2jlking replied to Rohn's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Great looking rigs. I have a Ruger Single-Six. These holsters would be a great addition. -
Good advice, Mattsbagger, thanks!

Any advice is certainly still welcome, but using the search feature shows me lots of opinions. Thanks

Folks, I need some advice. I am brand new to this craft, I have now done some very basic projects. I am dyeing, stamping, and a few other basic things. I want to get a swivel knife and start learning to use it, but I want to start with the right tool. I am not concerned with the price of the tool, just that it is the correct blade size and angle, and that the knife is from a high quality maker, one that you folks would consider a high quality instrument. Please advise.

My first leather project
d2jlking replied to d2jlking's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Thanks for the kind words! I'm really enjoying reading and trying to absorb all I can about this craft. Until I started this a few days ago, I must have never even really looked at a piece of tooled leather with any awareness of what was involved. Amazing! -
Possibles bag, always handy, and very cool nice work!!!!

My first attempt at a bag

Very sharp! -
So, I started lurking here a few days ago and I am amazed by how good all the work is and moreso by how cool and generous with knowledge you all are. I jumped right in with a couple bracelets!! I used a 1 1/2 bracelet from Tandy’s. I Stamped, stained, burnished, painted and sealed. VERY AMATEURISH! But what a blast, I’m very excited to learn and develop!!!

I have no answers, but I am very interested in this. I want to use a Sharpie to color my stamping and THEN use die for the rest of the piece (a bracelet)
