  2. Thanks a lot guys for your kind words. Especially to my friend Dave Theobald who came through for me on a construction question I had. Big help Dave, thanks! Anyone going to the Laughlin run this weekend? Will be there when they show the bike. Shirley
  3. Hi all, Some of you will have seen this. It's a tech article that made Bikernet.com. Thought I might as well post it here too. It's the 3rd article down on the right. (Bad Ass Seats) http://www.bikernet.com/garage/PageViewer.asp?PageID=1484 Shirley.

  14. Thanks abn, I almost did burn in the facial lines, but seeing as the dark brown stain did the job I didn't need to. Shirley
  15. Hi Roger, Don't know why, but I guess I just assumed you knew about this site. Anyway glad to have you around. Shirley
  16. Okay Dan, Is there something you need to talk about? Any pent up frustration? Someone needs to go check Dan's cellar!!!! Just kiddin' Dan! Nice Job! Shirley
  17. My husband bought me a sportster Back in '99, just before the first of three mini strokes. Although physically I was left with little injury, they did some neurological damage. My balance was affected quite a bit and my right hand would decide it didn't want to work every now and again. I didn't really feel comfortable getting on the bike after that. So I just sit at the back of the old man now. Shirley
  18. Thought I'd post these out of the biker section too. Shirley
  19. Wow, tath's icnrebilde! I cna't bieveile it wroks! Serilhy
  20. Great job Clay! Crooked nose and all. You did a wonderful job, coloring looks great. I tried to do a cougar once. I still have it somewhere. (Why don't leather people throw anything out?) Not my thing, all that leather dust. I love to see other peoples though. It makes me want to dig out that cougar, well almost. Shirley
  21. Hey Big Al, You're off to a great start! Welcome aboard, you'll learn a lot from these guys, I have. I've never completed a kit yet. Started a bag once. Tooled it, dyed it, put it back in the box. I'll finish it one day. To be honest, it was one of the first things I tooled, and now I don't really want anyone to see it. I don't think it's nice enough to show. So kudos to you for jumping right in. I am also from the Northeast of England originally, Leeds to be exact. Prefer the desert weather now though. It's nice to see another limey around! Shirleyz
  22. Just finished tooling this one. Will post it when finished.
  23. Hi all haven't been able to post anything for a while. Here's my latest.
