  1. Hi David, As always, top of the line. Shirley
  2. Oh that brought back memories! We had a whippet when I was a little girl. She was so nervous, she just trembled and peed for the first week we had her. Then she was part of the family. We called her Snippet. We weren't very original with names. shirleyz
  3. They look awesome Ken! How would a girl in the States be able to get one and make sure it fit, if you get my drift? Could I just send you measurements? Shirley

  5. You've outdone yourself Clay! Lovely, lovely work. When you're famous, I can say I knew you when....lol Shirley
  6. Hi Jim, Nice job! I made a couple last year for the school, I'll try and dig out the pics. Anyway, because it was in the school we weren't allowed real tea lites. I bought packs of three battery tea lites. They didn't last more than a few days but they were cheap anyway. No fear of burning leather though. I also made mine with a strip of velcro down the back so they could be opened out and packed flat for the next year. ShirleyZ
  7. Beautiful work! I love to see floral done well. It's my favorite to do, not wanted on bike seats too much. Shirley
  8. Tried it, never again. It's fine to sell used toasters and bike parts. People don't want to pay for quality, they want quantity. I'm not going to start my seats at $100 and hope they hit $200. I'd rather wait for a customer who wants to pay a fair price for custom work. ShirleyZ
  9. Nice clean looking seat. I like the look. You guys are putting me to shame. I'd better get my keester in gear and do some work! ShirleyZ
  10. Roger, I love it!!! See, I even used your sunday name. ShirleyZ
  11. Hi Tim, Nice work! I'm still playing with my airbrush, hope to get it down one of these days. You nailed it! shirleyZ
  12. Hey Steve, Nice to see you made it over, what took you so long? ShirleyZ
  13. Awesome Beez!!!!! Well done!! Congratulations, you've earned it. Shirley
  14. Lovely job Freak, I love it the way it is now, but I think color would look really good on this particular piece. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Can't wait to see it finished. ShirleyZ
  15. Sweet Taters? Aren't they like yams? Regardless of your taste in vegetables, great seat! Like always. Shirley
  16. Those are really nice! Tell Mrs. B, she did good! Shirley

  18. Welcome aboard Washroad. Can't wait to see your stuff! And thank you Clay for bringing that little sicky taste to the back of my throat. Shirley
  19. Billy you're nuts, I love ya! Where the heck did you come up with that pumpkin design. You might be gettin' a little too close to that Barge cement can. Shirley
  20. Okay, here is the side view of the second seat. The first and third seat were dry laced, but had to wet the second because of the goofy shape. Shirley
  21. Hi guys, Thanks for the kind words. For a finish on the first seat I just sealed the natural leather and used dark brown antique paste. The second I put the seat out in the sun for a few hours, sealed it and used medium brown antique. the last seat I dyed with my airbrush. Here's a side profile of the second seat Mike. It's actually for a custom build. Shirley
  22. Haven't posted for quite a while. Shirley
  23. Awesome work Beeza, as always. Shirley
  24. Really like those Dave!!! I've been wanting to experiment with the different dye techniques myself. I'm gonna do a couple of sample seats soon. Hope they turnout half as nice as yours. shirley
