  3. The Basketweave ist not straight and the sewing ist wobby. And I had should use a border tool around the basketweave.
  4. Here´s a Bookcover I finished this days. Carving and stamping was done 1 1/2 year´s ago, I layed it beside cause I don´t really liked it. A few days ago a friend of mine saw it in my working area and liked it. So i finished it and gave it away to him as a gift.

  8. Yes, thank´s for the information! I´ve had the same Problem with cheap veg tan cow sides, but the Spots where more blue than black. But I think it´s the same problem.

  13. Hello All! I´ve read in the Stolman book of sewing leather and here in one of my topics that I should never sew across the leather because it will weaken it. Ok, this makes sense but what is about dog collars where the D-Ring must be fittet? Please look at the Link below and tell me what you think. I´ve made a collar for my Labrador like the one in the link and since then I wait for "the break" Dog Collar Have you any Idea how to fasten the D-Ring without sewing across?
  14. @Hivemind: The Rings are cut from Elk Antlers and polished. The customer is a taxidermist who works the whole day with this stuff. @alb: The Applicator was a damped sponge and the colour is antique finish (mahagonay).
