  1. I had the leather sitting around and made it just to make it. Didn’t charge for this one - gave it to a family friend.
  2. Thank you so much. Very appreciated. I use welts on occasion. But to answer your question…friction.
  3. I have an outlaw and it was my first machine. Used it exclusively for about 2 years. Loved it! I now have a 4500 so it sees most of my work, but will always have the outlaw on hand to use if needed. It’s a great step up from hand stitching!
  4. Thank you very much!
  5. Very nice work!
  6. Well I’ll be the oddball. I say, put a topcoat on it, and then antique it.
  7. Holy smokes! Stunning work!
  8. Thanks! Just my iPhone.
  9. Yes these are all my own patterns and designs.
  10. Thanks y'all!
  11. And a knife sheath.
  12. A few of my recent builds. Chest rig for a scoped revolver, with Timber Rattlesnake inlay. Basic strong side holster. Simple, rugged, tough, inexpensive. Belt, holster, and cartridge holder combo. 2nd pic is of me wearing it, to show the concept behind the design.
  13. I would wait. I doubt it would ruin it, but it will definitely affect it and change the appearance.
  14. Another for the Cowboy 4500. It changed my life as a leather smith.
  15. Very sharp looking. Well done!
  16. Thanks everyone!
  17. There was in fact a reason. The customer asked for it to be made like this.
  18. A few of my most recent builds. My Texas Sidekick holster (made to be worn crossdraw), a chest rig, and a simple western belt.
  19. Same as above…not sure how I missed this post. This is a stunning work of art. True craftsmanship.
  20. Stunning work. Appreciate you taking the time to bring us along with the progress pics.
  21. Very nice work. Well done!
  22. That looks great! Well done.
  23. My method… tool, dye(if desired), tan kote, antique, tan kote Letting each step dry completely before moving on to the next step.
