  1. Thanks everyone! I’ve made and sold two of these so far. My price for each was $250. Based on my business model, it works out nicely. Appreciate all the nice words.
  2. Stunning work!
  3. I have one and used it for the past two years or so. Love the machine overall. It definitely takes some trial/error in getting it set up properly and staying that way. Because it's arm powered, it's somewhat of a violent stroke which in turn knocks adjustments out of current settings, a little quicker. So...make sure you always test your stitch line on similar thickness/type before running a stitch on a final product. I'll never part with mine but it is now my back up as I recently bought a CB 4500. Good luck if you go that route. It's definitely a good machine and will stitch through a car if needed...
  4. Well done! That elephant hide is awesome.
  5. Outstanding!
  6. Thanks! D-rings sewn into the holster and trigger snaps on the harness. Let me know if this makes sense - it not, I'll post a pic up close.
  7. Thank you all, for the nice words. 327fed…here is the same design but for a different revolver.
  8. That looks great! Well done.
  9. Very nice work!
  10. My latest build out of the shop for a customer in Wisconsin. Handgun hunter that wanted a chest rig for his Magnum Research BFR in .460 with 10” barrel plus brake. This consumed a plethora of dead cow…
  11. After the needle is on its way back ‘up’ as you experienced is when to make the turn. At this point in the process, the top thread has already hooked the bottom thread.
  12. Sharp!
  13. Stunning!
  14. One more.
  15. I was commissioned to build this for a customer in Mississippi. Rattlesnake inlay guitar strap with suede lining. I’m pleased with how it turned out but always welcome constructive criticism!
  16. Ha yeah I know. But I’m a dedicated handgun hunter and my eyes just don’t allow irons anymore. But I agree…there’s just something fundamentally wrong with it. Thank you sir!
  17. New to the forum but longtime leather-smith, and just wanted to post a few recent projects. Looking forward to learning from everyone here. Thanks!
  18. Thank you sir. Funny…I use to frequent a drum forum (another passion) where one of the members was also Pastor Bob…from Missouri.
  19. Howdy! My name is Randy and I live in central Texas, just north of San Antonio. Been a leather-smith most of my adult life. Got started as a handgun hunter that never could find holsters to fit my exact needs. That was 20+ years ago and my passion has never dwindled. Looking forward to jumping in and learning even more. Thanks. Randy A few recent builds... Couple more...
