  1. Great feedback, thank you. Is there one in particular you’d suggest I look in to?
  2. I know nothing about laser embossing leather, but I'd like to get into it. I'd like to do small, basic things like hat patches, key chains, etc. Does anyone have experience with the Laser Pecker 1? Reviews seem good but I'd like to hear from true leathersmiths on the subject.
  3. I use neatsfoot oil after dying and while it’s still ‘wetish’ I will train the the leather a bit by bending into the shape it will eventually live. Most of my work are holsters so once it’s completely done and stitched, I want it to be stiff. This approach works for me and keeps the leather from cracking.
  4. Wow! Very nice work!
  5. Really good post and thoughts. I agree wholeheartedly.
  6. Here in Texas we still have it pretty good. Especially for a dude like myself that lives to be outdoors toting a handgun or fly rod throughout the year.
  7. Personally, I’d stitch through both in case a repair is needed one day and it creates a better bond between the two. For me, I’ve gone to lacing the loops with a small ‘tack stitch’ between each loop. I’ll either stitch between or use a rivet. This eliminates the issues with looseness when multiple cartridges are removed.
  8. Those look really nice. Well done!
  9. Thanks everyone! Appreciate the nice words.
  10. Nice. I could see this being adaptable to a koozie too.
  11. Why thank you, sir!
  12. Just finished this holster for a 5.5” Ruger SBH. Outer is ostrich embossed and the inner is a piece of 7/8 oz veg-tan. Another pic…
  13. Nice work! I really dig the embroidery logo.
  14. That looks great! Well done!
  15. Here is a picture of me with the same rig built for one of my revolvers. Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the kind remarks!
  16. Custom chest rig and belt slide for a Smith & Wesson X-Frame in 350 Legend. These chest rigs have really taken off for me in the handgun hunting community.
  17. Love it. Having worked with rattlesnake skin myself, I know that getting the diamonds to line up perfectly ain’t exactly easy. Well done!
  18. Thank you! Because…he asked for it haha.
  19. Latest commission for a buddy. Two knife sheaths - one with an external pocket for a sharpener.
  20. Mercy. Serious skills. Great work!
  21. Hi Johanna.  Can you please give me access to the adult area?  Thank you.
