All my new wallets together. The brand newest one is at the bottom -- it's cream Saffiano, with cream Ritza thread, with a black glossy/textured interior. I can't recall what that leather pattern is named. They look so good together!

I finished this small "clutch" bag for a co-worker. Some nice chrome-tanned floral print leather, with a matching strap.

I decided that I needed a second, slimmer wallet, and I had some nice green remnants floating in my stash. So I whipped out a pattern for a bi-fold, extended it, eyeballed it, and about 6 non-contiguous hours later, here's what I ended up with. The inside uses three different card pocket styles, in black pigskin lining. Ritza sage green and Ritza green are the threads I used, with a 3mm stitching iron. Edges are black Tokonole. I love the color and texture of the green leather!

This one gives you a lot out of a little. A fit in the hand sized card wallet, with two card slots on the one side, a mid pocket to fit some cash or more cards, and a coin pocket on the other with a Brass Snap to keep those coins safe. Fits nicely in a front pocket, made from 6oz Spanish veg tanned leather, and sewn together using high quality waxed thread so it will never come apart. The wallets are made from cut to stich completely by hand, the edges are all hand burnished, then coated with a clear sealant and polished. Attention to detail means everything., so I really hope I am getting better at our craft ))

Hey everyone, New to this forum and leatherworking also. This is my first real project with leatherworking. I am currently working on a card type wallet and I have been running into issues with the cards, once inserted, wanting to bow out of the wallet. I started with a wallet that was 4" long and the cards would bow when inserted so I made the wallet longer (4-1/8") but still have this issue. I am pretty stumped because I do not want to go any wider and going wider didn't alleviate any of the pressure on the cards. One thought I had was making the "arms" on the upper pocket shorter. Again, I am not quite sure what the issue is here but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Any advice is greatly appreciated and I have pictures below of the larger wallet to show the issue I am having (dont mind the awful edge paint job!). Thank you!

I received my first Horween leather yesterday from A A Crack so I had to quickly try it out. I am very impressed with the quality and with how easy it was to work with. Almost all of my previous work has been done with veg tan that I have dyed myself so it was a refreshing change to just pick up some leather cut it out and stitch. I’m worried though that I already thinking I need more Any tips on finishing horween does your final product need any conditioning etc? Normally I would finish my other veg tan products with resoline or carnauba cream or just some leather conditioner such as sedgwicks.

Here's one of my tattoo "Flash Card" wallets. I've done many over the last few years and this is one of my favorites.

I was really interested in joesnuffle's posts on using an embossing folder to make the leather for his card wallets. Since I have all that stuff from my previous life as a rubber stamper, I decided to give it a go. I used one of the cuttlebug folders and one of the Tim Holtz ones in my original Spellbinders Wizard die cut machine and used veggie tan leather. I am really impressed with the depth I got on these. Thanks for the inspiration, Joe.

Hey folks ! Its been a while since posted any new items , ive been busy with getting married and moving in to a new apartment, and a few other things. My dad has been on to me since last year to make him a wallet , kind of joking...... but i can take a hint ! I finally bit the bullet and made him one , Im going to send it to him for fathers day , (he is in Ireland) The wallet is made form 2-3 oz leather for the cover the same for the card slots but skived down to 1-2 Cash slot is lined with pig skin split. Might i add is an absolute bitch to sand in the edges when there is 2 layers of pig in the middle ! The veg tan is dyed with tandy eco flow dark brown antique, followed by a coat of neatsfoot oil, followed by about 3 light coats of satin shene. and a good bit of buffing between coats. then i put it all together, stitched it , and sanded the edges before beveling and then on to burnishing which i did using the yellow saddle soap and my hand burnisher wrapped in denim. ( i really like the saddle soap for burnishing ) then i dyed the edges with dark brown pro oil dye, and sealed them with 3 light coats of resoline. Over all i think it turned out pretty good. Feel free to leave me your opinions good or bad , as i am still learning and i love the feed back ! Have a great day people and God bless !

The flash is a bit annoying in the pic but I will not have time for this tomorrow. I think I like the 2 colour version better than the single colour ones I did. It certainly changes the whole feel of the piece. Finally finished with Christmas gifts with a little time to spare. Fortunately we did not loose our power as so many around us did or I would have been in BIG trouble.

These are a couple of the things I made as Christmas gifts I thought I would share. The card wallets are made of goatskin and are really light. I am really pleased with them. The coin purses are of a lambskin with a patent type finish. Makes them look a little more showy than the other ones I have done like this.

I came across some little sewing patterns the other day and thought that I could modify them and create a cool little card wallet out of the basic design idea. There are so many options and creative ideas I have for the tooling and adding of lace and such to this that I am kind of excited about it and hope they are liked enough that I get to make a bunch of them. This is a picture of one of the two I have done so far and have put up for sale. Will see how it goes.

Hey all, I finally got around to taking some new pics of my insanely popular card wallet with money clip (I REALLY need to give this thing a good, proper name!) Anyway, just showing off! lol! 4/5 oz veggie, waxed nylon thread, saddle stitched. Cheers, Andy
